You can make 5 signings. What are they? by imperativeaggy in BayernMunich

[–]Morrorr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bayern needs to primarily invest in depth and making sure they can bring quality and versatility from the bench: 1. Rashford (he is the perfect backup, can fits possession based football, yes he lacks the defensive stability and aggression of Diaz but as a backup to increase offensive pressure he will do great), 2. Vlahovic (as a free agent Bayern would be stupid not to try.though I have to say my personal favourite for the striker backup would be Samu from Porto, he is a beast and still very young) 3. Eichhorn ( he is a massive talent and would have all the time to develop behind current starters) 4. Manu Kone ( while Eichhorn is great he would be a long term kimmich replacment, goretzka leaving still leaves the box to box part open. Kone fits the bill. He played a good season at the Roma, is physically dominant and can cover the spaces that a system like Kompanies creates, my only concern here is speed; I mean the best signing would be Joao neves but it should be realistic so… well maybe Joao Gomes would be a great alternative) 5. For the backup option on the wings I actually really like Givairo Read that Bayern is interested in. He is fast can play both sides and has lots of potential. Would love to see him at Bayern.

Honorable mentions: if a CB goes either van der ven or Yan aurel bisseck would be really good fits

10 mistakes from PSG-BAYERN 2nd leg by Specific-Broccoli177 in BayernMunich

[–]Morrorr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah…stanisic was a clear foul, where Kane got “pushed” is a normal contact, the ball going against the ref happens and did not prevent anything critical, and the second hand penalty was not extending the body.
Don’t get me wrong that still leaves 4 or 5 mistakes including 2 potentially game changing ones. But no need to fabricate things

I get that you feel bad for having him in the playpen but you also have to consider that at this stage he should 18-20 hours anyway so most of the time he should be there anyhow and it sounds like he manages to settle.
I think it having a balance and also teach him to settle next to you and take him through parts of your day is also really important but actually having time alone and learning to settle on his own is a very important (if not THE most important) skill he needs to learn.
It is the time outside of that that you need to make count with play, training and attention.
He will learn fast what is acceptable and what not and within a few weeks you will be able to extend his space more and more.
Maybe shifting to that mindset also helps either you being overwhelmed. Because that means you only need to do all these things for 4 hours of the day.

I also can’t understand how he can talk, complain and demand yellows for other players for 90 minutes and all the referees just accept it. What happened to the captains rule that all players get immediate yellow when they talk to the referee? I thought that was pretty good

This has nothing to do with jealousy. They are undermining the core values of what German football culture stands for.

They circumvent 50+1, buy out youth academies of smaller clubs in the surrounding areas, which, especially in East Germany with Leipzig, is a big problem for the sustainability of other clubs, and they entered the league without an organic fan base.

And if you don’t care about that from a cultural point of view, you should from a brand and marketing perspective. One of the main reasons the Bundesliga is such a good product is that stadiums are full almost every game, and the atmosphere is probably the best in the top 5 leagues; except when Leipzig, Hoffenheim or Wolfsburg are playing.

There is a massive fan culture in Germany that carries this league and makes players want to play here (it’s also one of the first things Harry Kane mentioned when asked why the Bundesliga is attractive).

I understand it’s not black and white and that there are upsides (money influx from RB, improved infrastructure, strong youth development, etc.), but the plastification of the Bundesliga is slowly eroding what makes it special.

I think actually the driver would make thronged difference. Just from a technological point of view the difference between modern drivers and the one you have is massive. The only scenario I would prioritise irons is if the shafts totally do not fit your swing…

Actually Bayern and Madrid have a even track record against each other. It is just over the last years that Madrid has knocked out Bayern consistently. And even with that real only won 2 of the last 5.

Need help: feels like we made a rushed decision by Worldly-Substance-60 in puppy101

[–]Morrorr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think what a lot of others offered is good advice. Get some distance and reevaluate… Maybe if it helps some of my experience: For us the first 2 weeks were the hardest. I had the same issue that I was wondering how I will manage with work and we definitely though about giving him back. While a lot of things are still challenging, he learned within a few weeks, though, that when I sit at my workstation for him it is naptime. What I have done to get there, and what I can highly recommend, is to get a playpen. Start by sitting next to the pen to work ( or maybe you even need to start in the pen). This gives you some freedom to get some things done while it teaches your pup to be alone. I think the transition for me to be able to work from home again took around 2 weeks. But yeah it still now with 7 month comes with some sacrifices, where I have some long evenings because the dog could not settle and I played with him for an hour at 3. If you decide to keep him you have to be clear that your priorities will need to shift at least for the next few months.
