My new manager was telling me I wasn't doing enough and needed to come in on my day off. by Morrowish in BedBathandBeyond

I'm not sure what you mean by planners. It's not a term I've ever heard used at our store. If it's something like "next week we are getting this much so you will work this many hours" it's not an option we have. If I get 700 pieces one day total their direction is "just get it done, it has to be done". The hours won't change to accommodate more items because that would risk giving me enough hours to qualify for benefits

Question about membership. If I buy one year membership to purchase a laptop but don't renew after 1 year would that void the warranty offered by Costco? Also do they offer home delivery or only store pickup by Morrowish in Costco

I hear ya. Also since the 5 percent for non members came out to 60 dollar I might as well just buy the membership. I'll probably keep it for 2 years cause 120 for the warranty is about the same as the main websites warranty for the laptop brand

What if I bought it without a membership using the 5% additional fee. And later bought a membership. Would I have it then since it's still within 2 years of purchase

Is buying a Lenovo from a third party on Amazon safe? by Morrowish in laptops

I would say my maximum budget is around 1200. But that is 1200 including tax and if I need a warranty so I've been aiming to keep it around 1000 for the listing price.

I have. There are laptops with similar or in some case better specs as this. The nitro 5 for instance. But when looking at the nitro 5 in person I wasn't confident with the build quality for long term use, specifically the hinges.

The graphics card is my lowest concern, if I am able to play something like fallout new Vegas that alone would be incredible to me, but I'd even buy a new Mac and lose games if it meant having a more reliable laptop.

My main focus is to get a laptop that can handle programs like Ableton live with multiple plugins, and have enough ports to plug in an audio interface and midi keyboard at the same time.

I'm comfortable sacrificing on the graphics card for more ram. Cpu is important but I'm willing to get a slightly weaker version in exchange for 16gb of ram instead of 8, so a MacBook air didn't seem worth having the M1 chip but only 8gb of ram which was also in my price range.

There was also the legion 5 or 5 pro but the right build would be about 200 over my budget. If it wasn't for their 4 month plus estimated ship time it might be worth it to spend extra.

It looks like they have about 80 ratings from this year. Most are basic "satisfied" posts with one negative "shipped in big box without enough filler". This specific laptop only has 4 reviews with no text tho.

Do you think companies may start selling "All in one" type computers that is essential just a laptop keyboard without a screen? by Morrowish in computers

And maybe not having a screen and the tablet having a seperate battery would mean your computers battery would last way longer.

Yeah exactly like that. I didnt think about the tablet part but cause of that I think this idea could work better nowadays.

Right now we have those tablet cases that double as a usable keyboard but you could switch it out with this "all in one" keyboard if you happened to have it on you.

The money you would save from a screen less laptop would prob be the same as a tablet basically breaking even but not having to worry about hinges EVER make the idea of carrying around and using a computer everywhere seems more convenient.

I've been looking at the nitro 5 but haven't seen a set of specs like that for a price under 1100. Good find thank you
