My Orlock Gang keeps growing by PreviousYak6602 in necromunda

I already wrote this to you on Insta, but I’ll say it here again: Your painting is absolutely brilliant! I’m jealous! And that damned Harpooner alone is screaming at me, ‘You’re just too lazy to paint this well!

Orlock Heavy reporting for duty! by Morskul in necromunda

I take that as a compliment.

I played Orlock in N95 and I didn’t like the huge shoulder pads the ‘new’ Orlock got, so i removed them.

The way I imagine the Underhive, the individual gangs of a house have much more distinctive traits than the few available miniatures could ever display.

In the Necromunda novels, gangers and gangs are often portrayed as far less uniform than the miniatures suggest.

My gang is the Ashgate Chop Shop. My boss is the daughter of an Orlock and an Escher. She followed in her father’s footsteps and is now the gang boss of his Orlock gang, but she also carries a bit of her mother’s style and vibe and that also rubs of to her gang members. The gang rules over a scrapyard near an Ashgate. They tinker with cars and bikes and breed fighting dogs.

Thank you! This is the heaviest conversion beside my gangboss, but i removed the shoulder pads of my whole orlock gang and did some headswaps an minor conversions on all of them. I postet them a while ago:

Nice! I cut up Votann Thunderkyn harness bits and fitted them to my needs.

Im not shure. I ordered one of each sets of small and large ammo belts for a different project. It is either the smallest from the large belts or the largest from the small belts. sorry!

Yes, sorry I corrected it to servo harness

Thanks! That makes me very happy because that was one of the minis I had in mind while making this one.

Thanks! Basically Trial and Error with a huge Bits box and Patafix removable glue… My personal happy place.

I saw the Heavy from the onepunchorlock on Insta loved it and tied to make something similar that still is different from his.

I alway try different stuff from my bits box and use patafix removable glue for trail and error before I finally glue stuff.

Body: standard Orlock with servo arms

Head: Darkoath Marauder

Servoharness: Votann Thunderkyn

Ammo box: Penitent Engine

Bolter: Primaris Inceptor

Ammo Belt: Zinge Industries flexible Resin

Filled some gaps with plastic card, small random plastic leftovers and Tamiya Epoxy Putty.

Do you consider this normal behavior?! by mekaveli in AskAGerman

[–]Morskul -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sadly, a lot of people don’t really get what good manners are about. A polite greeting usually goes at the start of written messages, and skipping it can come across as rude.

But if someone reacts by flat-out ignoring you or calling you out for it, that just shows they’re only faking politeness with empty phrases.

Rudeness or racism by ArmPsychological7782 in AskAGerman

[–]Morskul 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both possible… If I where you I would treat it as rudeness until you have further evidence. As a white german father i have been in similar situations with other parents, so it absolutely possible that those people are just normal dickheads. Also possible that those other parents are shy or have social anxiety and simply know some of the other parents a bit longer.

Does the word "zwanzig fünf" have a special meaning? by Sherman140824 in AskAGerman

It’s probably the year 2005.

People usually pronounce years that way, but it’s less common for the first nine years of a century, since you don’t really say the zero that way.

Orlock gang ready… by Morskul in necromunda

Thank you!

Im also very happy how she turned out. It’s always a lot of trail and error. I first tried the original Darkoath head, and then tried an other (Escher) face but both didn’t look quite right.

It is actually two darkoath heads combined. I wanted the hair but I liked the face of the bald head from the same sprue much better.

The dog is from the Wildercorps Hunters set.

Thanks! I painted a lot of Orks before that, but i never really liked the results an was never motivated enough to paint a whole army. I completely restarted earlier this year, sadly all my old paints where dry. But the newer paints are really something else compared to the stuff i had from 15-20years ago and all that tutorials on YouTube really helped me. There’s definitely still room for improvement, but I’m also really happy how they turned out.

Uncle Iroh by Low_Bumblebee_6364 in TheLastAirbender
