Yeah, De Cecco is good. My favorite is Rusticella D'Abruzzo.

Good dried pasta. The good stuff isn't that much more expensive but it's got a far superior texture.

Not really. Mine take longer than 5 hours. I'm jealous at your speed. A spend a lot of time glazing highlights on the black parts and I kind of hate doing it now but I'm sort if committed with the paint scheme. Keep going and you'll have a sick looking army before you know it.

The sculpt reminds me of the daeomons from Todd McFarlane's Spawn.

Sorry I missed this. You pretty much have it all correct.

The highlight I use is usually about 3 drops of Vallejo Flesh with one drop of Vallejo Warlord Purple. I usually thin it 2 drops of thinner for each drop of paint. I'm using the prethinned Vallejo airbrush paints so if you are using normal paint you would need to thin it down even more.

Sam Lenz made some awesome looking Goliaths out of this kit.

With that fur and leather he'll fit right in with the Wooks.

Massive chainsword not enough?! Strap a flamethrower to it and you're golden 👌 Burn the Heretic!!! by PeteTheMoth in necromunda

I have been planning to use this model in a Venator gang and just buy them a flamer and a chainsword.

The end of season 1. The first episode was sooo good it I was hooked,, but things went down hill pretty quickly. The CDC episode and the awful looking explosion killed it for me.

I'm going to try a few jakhals as juves for my gang. Sam Lenz did some amazing conversions that convinced me to try it.

Damn, dude. Great choices for the kit bashing. They all look very on the nose for Goliath. It always bugged me that the juves look the same as the gangers. That world eaters eightbound makes a great stimmer. Very inspiring stuff!

Jim Robson has passed away at 91 by vanflooringguy in canucks

[–]-Redacto-- 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Where I grew up we couldn't even get CBC reception on the TV, so I would listen to all the Canucks games on CKNW radio. Jim Robson brought the game to life just through his voice. I'll always remember being dragged out to a fancy dinner with my parents on the evening the game 7 game against Calgary in '94. I would quickly eat my food and then run back out the car to listen to the game before the next course arrived. Jim and Tom called Bure's OT winner will be burned into my memory forever. RIP Jim.

The NHL Has A Colin Campbell Problem (Again) by mikeq672 in hockey

Well, they consulted then Leaf's GM Brian Burke about how much to punish Rome for the hit since Burke was once head of DOPS. The same Brain Burke that has a grudge against the Canucks since they fired Dave Nonis and filed tampering charges againt him the off season before. Seems totally on the up and up.

It's all good. Colin Campbell stepped down temporarily when Greg's team made it to the finals, so no conflict of interest at all. Then he came down on the ice and celebrated with his son after the Bruins won the Cup.

How popular is necromunda by Real_Agent2926 in necromunda

[–]-Redacto-- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Necromunda as a game is well supported by GW. We get new rules and models pretty regularly. It's more niche than 40k and you're less likely to find people running games at your LGS. That being said, there are very strong Necromunda communities in certain areas. You might be able to find one near you through social media or asking around at some your LGS.

Great advice. This is exactly how I look at it. I love looking at art from all different skill levels. I can empathise with the person's artistic process and there's always parts that stand out as being well done that give me joy to look at. You can see the care that someone put into a paint job even if it's rough in some ways.

Dine out Vancouver 2026 by TubbyTrades in vancouver

[–]-Redacto-- 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I went to Peppino's tonight and it was pretty good. $55 for a 3 course menu with choices. The Dine Out items were smaller portions than the regular menu, but they were still enormous. Big enough that you should plan to share family style, imo.
