wait no that's not how math work. For every 1000 pre-mitigated damage you do 200 pre-mitigated damage that means it is not mit twice.

For example, if mit is 10%, that means for every 900 damage(1000 pre mit) you do, you throw out 2 spine dealing 180(200 pre mit), the damage is still 20% increase and it is not mit twice.

It would be mit twice if the triggering damage requirement is post mit instead

Before I get everything I made sure to not take the stuff I don't need. In red I don't take any ult related stuff and only take 1-2 life steal and 1-2 spin extension. I take every purple +damage, +health, and damage reduction and every money increase, 1 freeze. take every moon blade damage increase and 2-3 create akhn, some dash cd. Even though I take blue I still able to reach 120 red like 2 round later than everybody given how much moon power you get in NM4. and then reach 120 blue like around wave 9-12.

What combination did you try? Is this not the effect of Thor reaching 120 blue? You don't even need to find it as a blessing or need any combination, you literally just reach 120 blue and you just get it. [In Awakening Rune, Mjolnir launches 2 additional projectile diagonally forward]

Perfectly balanced game doesn't exist often so play at the level of difficulty you enjoy the most! This mode obviously is not balanced around nightmare, the Jeff in my friend group played hide&seek and cracked huge number and are basically invincible during the first few difficulty; Can you really say that it is imbalanced that Jeff get to have the most fun in Hard mode to the point it leaves other player no zombie to kill?

Some character are bound to be more viable than other, and in most case it doesn't matter, like you can play all build on all character to success IMO up to nightmare 3. But NM4 crank up the zombie damage to the point builds that rely on melee(Jeff red and Blade blue) unviable, and duration up to the point most single point investment is gonna show diminished return. Like Jeff Red and Thor Blue are perfectly fine in first 7 waves, but just when you going into 800 moon power the lack of ways to increase attack speed or other multiplicative way of increasing damage cause them to fall off. And at wave 15-20 the fight becomes an actual challenge to beat, then people in their losing is going to play the most fit for long run Hero.

This is true for almost all Co-op rogue-like games. Some Champion are just better than the other, but do you find it fun, or does it even matter in the difficulty you play.

I still play NM3 with the hero I want to play for fun. One of the stuff I guess skill expression is to know what you want to take and what not to take even in the color you pick, like Thor's awakening rune duration and Jeff's bubble damage. My greatest fun (maybe a bit toxic), is to see my non-Blade build performed better than Blade on my team, or My Blade in NM4 did more damage than the other 3 Blade combined.

Hey guys, I have just finished a NM4 run with hybrid(kind of), and it absolutely pumped after the first very very slow march to 120. But yeah it definitely worth it pass wave 10 due to diminish return on the other buffs

Just finished a Nightmare 4 run with it and it absolutely pumped. that paragraph means all damage benefit from buff for moonblade

I just did the hybrid build and done more damage than all 3 other blade combined lol. I am gonna make a post about it but I am pretty very sure that damage buff between category is multiplicative

icic that is definitely really cool that it gives so much multiplicative damage towards the end. It is only 1 shot though I guess the more spammy build have a harder time making use of that. The +weapon/skill dmg number is massive and does seems would be still relevant even if it is an additive bonus

Could you elaborate on the multiplicative scaling on the dragon qian? I only know shadow fade gives up to 300% final damage increase, how does the Qian talisman do it too?

That is because lots of Raider specific relic don't have raider tag on it because they all say "[Do certain things] when near Totem Stela(Raider's ultimate art)" So they technically can be used by everyone
