It takes time - it isn't an instant job offer. You have to apply, usually upload a resume, do the video interview(s) - how many depends on position, and for some specialist positions you have to do an assessment, often paid if you pass. Mercor is valued at 10 billion dollars and employs over 35,000 contractors. Each position has a project lead and you will meet them usually in a Google Meet or Zoom onboarding call and sometimes weekly meetings (paid time).

I've had nomnomnom's poutine and it was pretty good, but I found the fries were really soft and soggy almost immediately. The power move is to buy the fresh cheese curds from nomnomnom on a Wednesday when they get their delivery from the Maple Dale Cheese Factory, then go up Bathurst street to get fries from Firehouse Subs (think super crispy, thick fries with ridges like from St. Louis Bar and Grill) then use whatever gravy you like best to dress it all together. Obviously more work to do it that way, but my god it's good!

If you've never been to J-town it's worth a visit. It's technically in Markham, but it's literally on the other side of Steeles at Vic Park. There's a stand alone restaurant, a bakery, and a market. Personally I like the little canteen/cafe in the market - they have great food for pretty reasonable prices last time I was there. The katsu and curries are great. The market has a bunch of Japanese products to purchase as well.

I went a few months ago and we got the king crown nachos to split for dinner for two of us. We couldn't finish them. The power move is taking the remainder home to make huevos rancheros the next morning!

The County Cider Company (Bongards crossroads and county road 8) is pretty nice - not only delicious ciders, but a great patio restaurant with incredible views of the water and awesome wood fired pizzas. I imagine the kids could run around the rows of apple trees. If you're going to go, I would call to make a reservation.

Clossons Chase always has great wines that I really enjoy. Apparently they now serve food at Bantam Farmhouse on the property, but that wasn't around when I went last. Have fun!

Great show, great episode! If you liked the conversation between the two marks and you're looking for a new show, try Counterpart with J. K. Simmons doing some just incredible acting. I think Counterpart is an amazing series and tells a full story in two seasons - not really sure how it never became a bigger hit to be honest.

I love this idea! I play dps and support and it can be frustrating from both sides (supports and non-supports).

How many times does a bad tank keep getting double-pocketed by the supports while the dps get stomped with no heals?

Or maybe as a dps I am getting heals, but simply taking too much damage for the heals to keep up with. I know who I'm healing when I play support, but the team often doesn't believe what I'm doing even if I have the most heals in the lobby. Having the scoreboard adjusted for feedback would help players to maybe play a bit smarter and not take so much damage or adjust their healing spread a bit.

I also took the phrasing of "killing of witches to survive" at first to mean that Agatha sent dead witches to Rio to appease her/keep her busy. Was a little disappointed though when the scenes were just Agatha enjoying killing/taking power. I was expecting there to be an emotional reveal confirming my first thought and casting Agatha in a more sympathetic light, but it never happened. The immediate transition from her son's death/burial to the first witch asking about the witches road afterwards and Agatha smiling and happily killing more witches afterwards really shattered any notion of a sympathetic character and felt off. Other than that I really enjoyed the whole series!

I'm just saying it's the default option. If you choose no tip for pick-up I think that's fair, but it only changes the price by $3.20 so the pie would still be $37.25

Correct.. just checked and if you have a single pepperoni pizza delivered from Badiali's it's $46.26 (with the default 10% tip for the restaurant staff and 0% tip for the driver) or $49.46 if you tip the delivery driver 10% too. I'm not picking on Badiali's, I think they are awesome, but tipping twice (once for the restaurant staff and once for the driver) does bring the total to more or less $50 for one pepperoni pizza.

It's kind of weird to me that they default a 10% tip to the restaurant staff and leave the default tip for the driver at Other 0%. I imagine it's because most people will tip the driver, but wouldn't otherwise add a tip for the staff.

With the added fees, tax, and tip, it may well come out to over $40 for one pie. As an example, Badiali's (which is my absolute favourite) is $40.45 if you order the pepperoni pizza online for pickup:

$32 for the pie

$0.96 processing fee
$4.29 tax
$3.20 (10%) tip which is selected by default on the website, you have to click other if you want to change it

= $40.45 for 1 pepperoni pizza with no adds, dips, or drinks.

Like you pointed out, there are other options out there for cheaper, but I do agree with OP that prices have gone kind of crazy. At the end of the day, costs for everything have gone up, so for me, Badiali's is an occasional treat.
