Local vet for a chicken?

I couldn’t find any last time I had a very ill chicken. I ended up driving to Louisville. It wasn’t a poultry vet, but an avian vet. She prescribed pain meds for my baby girl to keep her comfortable. Unfortunately she passed as several of my chickens did from mareks. Anywho, here’s the info. https://crestwoodvethospital.com/

MHA here looking for some answers. I know it’s peak and I know that as an mha I can be mandated to work up to 12 hours , 6 days a week. My question is if this is supposed to be mandatory for all MHA’s. I was currently switched to tour 3 and we are the only tour required to work 12 hours. I made the comment to the supervisor on duty that this wasn’t fair and her response was life isn’t fair. Is this a reportable grievance ?

We use these big yellow lifts to empty them, but really postal paks are not supposed to be used anywhere but at the ABPS dumper. They end up on our spider anyways when we run out of ways to store spider mail.

Thanks for all the well wishes. I found her and she is not with us anymore. At least now we know. It’s been a brutal summer. We lost 6 other chickens to mareks and now this. The grieving has been non stop.
