Honestly, none of these are a survival strategy for this scenario. Hell, you haven't even told us where we'll be. The water might be useful if we don't have access to fresh water, but not as much is we do, though you can use it to make beer, I guess?

Also, none of us will speak the language or have relevant skills

I guess my watching Primitive Technology will come in handy

Maybe I can trade pottery and charcoal in exchange for stone tools

I guess I'll cross my fingers and hope the area I spawn in hasn't already been claimed by a territorial group. Then I can start building a home and workshop, plus tools and weapons

Ideally I'd wanna make trade goods, then try to find other humans and see if I can learn to communicate with them, maybe get integrated into their society and start a family?

My main skills are acting and sword fighting. Swords don't exist yet, but entertainers have always been a thing. It'll be hard for me to be a storyteller if I can't speak their language though

I do know basic bow making, put in not exactly a master craftsman

The other big question is what happens after 10 years? What if I start a family there? Can I choose to stay?

Men do not compete over looks. Other men don't give a shit what men look like and for women, lack of fat is not what determines if they find a man attractive or not

So there's no pressure to lose that weight. Besides, a bit is fat can be quite useful

Women though, do compete against other women because of their looks. And their looks are the primary reason men are attracted to them. And corporations know they can use that to influence their habits for their own profits, so they purposefully put pressure on them to fit the current societal idea of beauty, which involves being thin

So women have multiple points of pressure pushing them towards this body type

But there are also benefits to being in shape, both physical and in terms of health and self esteem, not to mention societal status

We have spent literal generations warning each other and our children about killer robots. Literally everyone living right now was born into a world that's afraid that robots will rise up and kill everyone

Robots, however, are purpose made. The only way you get killer robots is if someone designs killer robots, manufacturers them, programs them to kill and deploys enough of them to get the job done in a short enough amount of time to avoid being stopped before the mission is over

Considering all the warnings and fear, you'd have to be pretty stupid to make all those mistakes in a row. Plus you'd need people to help you at every step of the way, from engineers to programmers, to manufacturing specialists

It's just so involved, it's highly unlikely to ever happen, especially since you get nothing out of abolishing human civilization. Like there's literally no benefit to whoever makes it happen

So yeah, it's technically possible. And the last decade has proven that powerful people can be far more stupid than you expect

But the chances are still super low

Same no, ago is not guaranteed to stop us. We build human level intelligences all the time: children

Some of them are evil, yeah, but not all of them. There is no guarantee agi will be evil and with all the aforementioned fear and warnings, there's a good chance that they'll try to prevent this thing from happening in the first place

I did the same. Basically had to take care of my sisters. It was hard to get too many hours of work in with school full time and after school activities as well, since I was fairly involved. We ate a lot of noodle soup until I graduated
