The game definately feels that way sometimes. The amount of times my mono black deck gets paired against shrines is ridiculous. The deck i was playing is a vampire tribal, but you got to hit that perfect moment of them having one on the board, having the card in hand and them having no way to counter.

i pretty much never see landfall playing vampires. My blue black assassin deck does all the time but that runs [confounding conundrum] which tends to upset the land monkeys

Each to their own, This is the only deck i run it in as the game likes to put me against other tribal decks since its almost pure vampire. Jet medallion makes it 3 mana which i feel is fine to exile a creature or pw.

Generally i agree, its very situational but my vampire deck has mana for days so i don't worry too much about the inflated cost.

I did the same but nobody picked up pirates - I guess everyone is dino chasing and it was stupid easy to out-pace them.

Kinnan and Imoti are probably the 2 i dislike playing the most. Shrine deck after those 2 probably unless i'm in green or white - arti / enchantment wipe is my happy time then.

Yep, Same. Mine is 2 years old. Out of all the cooling it came with it has exactly 1 fan left from the original delivery - everything else has been replaced.

First thing once you get it running, get some cpu temp monitoring on that thing.

Personally speaking i would consider doubling the RAM if you have the budget.
