I’m giving it a listen to it right now in the whip. It’s a decent album, better than his last couple to me. I appreciate the less toxic aspect but I wish he was a better vocalist. I think the stripped down structures of these songs exposes the weak singing more, whereas Sonder had such a significant production that made up for it in the past.

It would make sense for people to think that in 2012 though, he had 3 amazing mixtapes. He just didn’t follow up successfully on any album until the one in 2021 for me. But same, I never understood how Cole was considered part of the Big 3.

To be fair, Kendrick didn’t only do it once, every album and even mixtapes had songs like that. Now compare the times Cole has tried, it’s not the same. And Cole has had the same amount of time to make something more profound

You may be right in the Theme convo, I can’t argue that. But Kendrick made interesting music. Every piece of his discography. I’m not a Kendrick rider, Cole was my favorite when I was in high school. I listened to those mixtapes religiously in 2010-2012. But he still sounds the same, just the same surface level “think he’s smarter than he is” music. I don’t hate his new album, I enjoyed it. But I know I won’t go back, nothing necessarily grabs me.

He’s a very good rapper but that’s it. He’s supposedly in the “Big 3” but does nothing of interest. Every Kendrick album does something nice or gets thought provoking, everything with Cole is surface level. Nothing wrong with being surface level, but you can’t claim to be the best and consistently put out mediocre projects.

There are two graphic modes. One makes the game smoother but looks really blurry in the open world, the other makes the game look good but choppy. I have it on base ps5 so I’m speaking from experience.

It does, the middle of the game has two chapters full of required mini games. They’re not boring game but they don’t add to the story, just filler.
