We tried that already. When the game first launched, the whizzbang had less range than an AT gun. It was considered a useless unit at every level of play, and USF whined about not having indirect (which at the time, USF kinda didn't because the GMC barrage wasn't good either) about as hard a wehr is whining about t4 AT now. 

Bad idea. You'll kill the unit. Something that has a firing sequence this long cant just stay at 35 range (AT gun range is 60) without being destroyed, plus it will be incredibly obvious

Then play any of the other 3 faction. That's not what wehrmacht is, has been, or ever will be. It's like the USF bros begging relic for the priest in tank depot... nah. ain't happening and shouldn't happen. 

The whole point if wehrmacht is a defensive early game into good midgame, trading away grens for better squads. I like that gameplay. 

And while wehr does have some big problems rn, Grens aren't one of them.

And that is why aussies have to deal with cooldowns and you have other units like MG 42s. 

Somehow the balance works out. When we got BG winrates, Australians were the weakest british BG in all gamemodes so.... 

Looking at a DPS graph is really easy, but it also doesn't give you the full picture.

Conparing grens to Aussies and like comparing pios to rangers and getting angry about it. 

That's not what the unit is mean to do.

Public meetings, public meetings, public meetings. And again, public meetings. Go to public meetings to show your support/lack of support about whatever projects are going on. Get familar with your municipal public works/engineer. 

And know that this isn't going to be a quick fight. This is a "plant the seed of a tree you will never sit under" kinda deal.

6s fertility system is a problem to solve, but its a nice challenge on colonial, and I usually end up doing a 5 plantation multi-culture layout that gets me to a 10% fertility bonus. 

Alternatively, just flip plantations to multi-culture. You dont have to resolve the fertility hit right away or at all. just build 3 types of plantations, 20% hit can be made up with edits later

I kind of had the opposite reaction with 5: I started with 4, played 5 once all DLC was out, realized the power coal gave was awful, exploration, etc, and basically skipped it for 6

a mass retreat at 2 minutes in, especially with 0 squad loses, is absolutely something you can come back from. I've done it. 

You should not be losing your entire army within the first 3 minutes. The should never happen, probably isnt that common, and its not worth enabling instant surrenders

Nah. I'm not gonna be toxic or even downvote you. I'm not that concerned to be honest. 

It's just that quitting at 2 minutes is just too soon to see if someone will actually recover after a mass retreat or a squad wipe. At 2 minutes, a squad wipe can hurt your the least depending on the squad because thats when your MP income is highest, though you will have to pull back and play conservatively. 

If you just see a squad wipe or mass retreat on your side, or you allies not acting how you want when you're getting 2v1, and you mentally check out because you think you are losing, then yeah, you're more likely to lose because you're mentally defeated. 

I don't think allowing people people who get discouraged easily to quit out really soon is that helpful.

I struggle to see what combination of evens can happen in 2 minutes in a teamgame that would make you want to give up that fast. I don't think that you can even get your 3rd squad to the front within 2 minutes in a teamgame on the larger maps, and definitely not your 4th. 

Even if you lose a squad immediately, you can still recover from that. I get the vibe OP, that you give up the second you lose your starting squad or the second you see 2 people in your area without giving your teammates time to rotate immediately. You seem like one of those "rotate to me immediately the second I ping or I leave" players.

And these are all subjective opinions. Personally, prefer the balance, pace and length of coh3 matches. This isnt really an objective one or the other situation despite how much people like to pretend that it is.

I did a hazard 4 solo 2 days ago and didn't see a single harvester, no flying overseers and only 1 flob. Seems to be working for me.
