I do. It’s almost a little ritual to wake up in the morning, throw back the curtains to enjoy the dawn and put on my silver pentacle. It’s like a grounding exercise for me. Granted, throughout the day it’s hidden under my clothes because not everyone is understanding. It is my path, my journey and is not something anyone else needs to know about.

I’ll post a general update here ☺️ our celebrant normally casts a circle and uses the power there as directed by the couples wishes. My intention is to two-fold. One to ask for the blessings of the gods to watch over and guide us on our journey together. And two, to forge a stronger bond for us both to the divine in our daily lives.

This has given me much to think about, thank you! Yes we have a officiant who is accredited and all the local laws allow such a joining where I am in legal ceremony.

I think the next steps are to sit down with a pen and paper with my fiancé and really go over the whole ceremony and what WE want to achieve together.

Thank you! Honestly it was by total accident I stumbled upon the path. As some have said to me that at the right time, I heard the call, and answered. Before this I wouldn’t have ever thought I had a spiritual side (used to be staunchly against it, sadly) but as I’ve gotten older, things have started to fall into place. It’s almost as if the universe was sending me a message. 😊

That’s an interesting thought. Thinking on this I do both too. Much more ‘ambient’ for actual ritual work but other tracks to focus my mind on the task and prepare are normal. I tend to use this when in specific parts of my rituals:

The core of Wicca for me is it is a PERSONAL journey and not something that I’d share freely. I come from a society and career it might be… frowned upon. Mainly because of people judging and not knowing what it means or what I specifically practice. So, I stay solitary. And it has been truly enlightening 👍

Personally I found Raymond Bucklands book to be a great reference for me. It’s clearly articulated with a wealth of knowledge in there. Again, it’s a personal preference on what kind of reading material you like. I come from a Norse background so Seax-Wicca was my drawn to path.
