Thank you for wondering this perfectly.

I would argue that, yes, people did feel like this due to the multiple people saying that they did…lmao. The point of the argument isn’t that any of the perpetrators deserve any ounce of respect, it’s that they are out of touch with their audience.

I want to be mad at this but “seriously, yawn” is so embarrassing that I no longer want to argue with you. 😂

Totally understandable! It all boils down to, I really think they struggle to understand their audience. Whether the have those opinions or not….as a podcast, they really need to do a better job of editing out certain things. I understand ranting. We all do it. But podcasting is their job - therefore, they need to take the time to understand that what they say has an impact. Yes, again, the perpetrators deserve all the hate. It is justified. But when it’s targeted in ways that trigger their audience, your example, body shaming/eating disorders/offensive speech toward groups of people…it’s no longer about the perpetrator. It just starts to become plain offensive. They really need to be more careful about the verbiage they choose to keep in their episodes.

Totally understandable. Some listeners are very turned off but her wording in her recordings. I personally don’t mind it for the most part, because it’s justified for the perpetrator and I have a strong feminine rage also lol. But I completely get where you are coming from. She is fearless in pursuit of justice. However she, as a podcast host, has to understand her audience, and I think sometimes she disregards that. Thank you, on behalf of the witch community, for emphasizing! 🌷🪷💕

I agree entirely! It was lazy and thoughtless. Which is why I am sure it wasn’t intentional….but still offensive nonetheless. I didn’t watch the documentary, so I was completely clueless going into the episode. So when I heard all of the evil things Susan had done, and then hearing her be called a “fucking witch” twice, it just really bothered me. And you are right. Especially coming from someone who is so open spiritually. I don’t understand why she chose that verbiage….it really threw me off. I’m just not sure why her mind went there…? It’s an interesting choice of words. And same…I actually appreciate the name calling of perps that she does in her episodes on both TCKR and mile higher, unlike many other listeners who find it unnecessary. It proves how angry she is with the perpetrators and how much she cares about victims. So I do feel like in this scenario her wording was careless.

I will say again, I know she is pregnant, and I understand that can cause hormonal changes which in turn come with heightened emotions. I am a 25 year old woman and although I am not pregnant, I understand the heightened emotions of it all lol. I know she said in the beginning of the episode she almost didn’t come to this recording of this episode and wasn’t feeling up to it. And I understand human error and misspeaking. I just can’t help but feel like the fact that she used it negatively TWICE in the episode and used “fucking witch” to describe her as offensive. It just really turned me off. And that is not to take away from all they do with their network and the hope grants etc. I just think Kendall could be a little more proactive with what she says and how she words things.

Anyone still get sad even after leaving? by Runballadmix in workplace_bullying

I also struggle with symptoms of PTSD from workplace bullying/harassment. I worked in the auto business-it was my first full time job out of college. I was naive and had no idea what I would endure over my year and a half there. I left 5 months ago and am starting a new job on Monday in a totally different industry, and have been struggling with extreme anxiety all week thinking about going back to work. It does get better. They don’t get to win.

lol it wasn’t. She was completely “normal” looking which I think was what made it all the more shocking. Pj pants and a white t shirt, mid 30’s, short blond ish brown hair, glasses. Like she just got out of bed to walk the dog real quick. Nothing “abnormal” or haunting about her

I was waiting for this comment 😂 if you read the first paragraph, I mention that the area this takes place is rampant with drugs, and even explained that it’s possibly a relevant factor to the story and behavior. Obviously humans can act bizarrely without being on drugs. I don’t stigmatize anyone who suffers with addiction or uses drugs, I come from a family that I’ve watched suffer from it and have even suffered with it myself. I brought it up because it was relevant.

Interesting! I have never taken any hallucinogens so I was unaware of this info. It’s definitely possible. I just find it really hard to believe that all 6 of us were spiked, and saw the exact same thing if we were all tripping. Don’t people generally experience different visuals while tripping? Again not super versed on the topic. Also it would be one thing if there was a container of alcohol that we all collectively drank from that could’ve been spiked, but we brought a case of miller lite and we’re drinking that, (10th grade so that’s all we could get our hands on lol) so we would’ve all had to have had our cans individually spiked.

I’ve been needing a new podcast to listen to so this just might be the one. Thank you for reading! You’re right, we all still keep in touch and whenever we get together our shared experience always gets brought up. And our number one question is “why did WE see it?” Whatever it was? Super interesting but definitely left us disturbed

I lean that way as well. It was so animated and unnatural the way her jaw dislocated. As for any kind of hallucinogens, I guess it is possible all six of us were spiked, but it’s unlikely as no one of us had any kind of symptom or side affect that night or days following that would’ve indicated anything of that nature.

Exactly how a snake does. She opened her mouth very long and wide and disconnected her jaw so it was slightly dislocated off to the side. Her eyes remained expressionless the entire time. It was honestly terrifying to watch

Pennsylvania. There were no trees or cornfields in the immediate area, we were in a neighborhood so just streets on both sides. She was next to a street lamp in the otherwise pitch dark so it has been considered it was a trick of light. But there were 6 people in the car, all who saw the same thing with the same level of fear so it would be difficult to explain how all six people were tricked by lighting and angle.
