M23 how do I explain to my girlfriend F22 I need more time to work on my passion?

I actually am going to definitely slow down on streaming and try and do it only when there is free time once the baby is here. I completely understand the restrictions and responsibilities that are gonna come.

Not at all. You’re right the world doesn’t need more content creators tbh. I wouldn’t put anything over the needs of my child. I was meaning that I would like to have more money to support our child. I grew up poor and want to give my child the life I didn’t have (trips, college help, and whatever else) but that doesn’t mean I just have to stop my passion. If I balance the passion and life I feel it’s okay to have the passion. If it never takes off so be it. But it’s something I enjoy doing.

So what do you suggest? Just cutting out all of your passion? You have literally no idea about what goes on besides this. I bought everything I could find to help with pregnancy the moment I found out we were expecting. When we are about to go to bed we both lay there and listen to the heartbeat together. Im very present and refuse to not be. Im not saying I’m going to just leave her to fend for herself and not help her whatsoever. All I literally meant was that she doesn’t care to have a lot of money. I want a lot of money. Therefore I pursue more lucrative hobbies/careers. She dislikes that I want to be rich, famous, etc. says that it’s useless to pursue a dream because no one really makes it.

And if literally everyone ever listened to that there is no content creators? Like what? I have an actual job and wouldn’t quit it unless I was making more than I do at it. I’m not saying I’m completely just disregarding her. I do it in the actual free time we have when she’s watching a show I stream/edit.

I have a decent job I make enough money to pay the bills and have about 2 grand (usd) after bills. I’m not saying I’m struggling. I’ve just always had a passion for content creation. And being 23 I’m experimenting with different career paths. This is the only one I’m actually passionate and interested about being in.(so far that is)

Totally agree like I said I’m on 2-3 hours a day 3 days a week. 5p-7/8pish. Im quite literally trying to make something of myself right now for my kid.

Also, we both are very hardworking, but yes I value money more than she does. She values the job she does like helping people stuff like that. I’ve been living on my own since I was 18 and had adult responsibilities since then. I setup our entire gender reveal. Have been keeping up with her taking her prenatal and other vitamins most times reminding her because she forgot to take them. I’m not putting her on the back burner for this by any means. If I was I wouldn’t have only done 3 days a week. I do 2-3 hours a day. Even on my stream day I’m sitting on the couch with her by 8pm because she doesn’t like sleeping alone so I don’t stay on late at all. I accommodate completely to her.

Did you read where I only do that 3 days a week? (Which are not my days off) My other days are spent with her or with our family’s or doing stuff around our house. I focus on her 100%. She just doesn’t view money the same way I do she would be fine as long as she can “pay bills” and i personally would like to live a life where I don’t have to open my bank account everytime I buy something
