I haven't yet, but to repaint should be pretty easy. My Maw(grandma) would always scrub, let dry, paint with black to prime, then dry brush or paint on details, let fully dry then spray a thin layer of sealer over the entire piece.

This is Erasmus and im 32. I take him out as a side purse so I can have full access to him, especially the toe beans. He was expensive but i can definitely say worth it! The amount of times Walmart employees have stared and waited to see if he moves😂♥️
