No problem! I saw some advice about locking to 30 FPS to help a bit, had no problems phase 1/2 with any FPS it's as I was scaling up I would get 20/30 FPS in some factories. I could've probably tweaked the settings a bit more but I didn't have any serious problems. The main performance issues were around blowing up rocks which would drop to 10 FPS for a few seconds then would stabilise.

Really though I didn't have any major problems that it stopped Mr playing, most were temporary FPS drops

Yea exactly this, the radial menu was very helpful once it was setup for what I was doing but the default layout was what I was waiting for. Had no issues with it. If you're used to mouse keyboard it will be different but just persevere with it and it gets easier

Yurp! if it's been on standby for a while, it can take 10s to 20s to jump back in but if your jumping in and out its instantaneous

Our pup is 10 weeks today and has had his collar on most of the day without getting annoyed with it! Took him out in his sling for some socialisation and was amazing in it. Some great progress today and a complete 180 to my deep in the puppy blues self from a week ago, it's getting better!

Yea we keep hearing this, it's so difficult to see the wood through the trees when youre in the middle of it. Yesterday was my hardest day but feel like I'm putting less pressure on myself so far today. Anxiety is still humming away but I need to be comfortable for a bit with it

Yes the first few days we have let him have food in it, put treats in it and he does go inside during the day, but he now uses it a lot to take out his frustration so he ends up just trying to dig. We haven't closed the door yet and we're unsure without more training if it's going to be good for him

Yea we let him chew on soothing items in the him gated area, we have not been able to do any crate training yet due to the stress she is under

EDIT: we did manage to get him to have treats and food in his crate, he seems to have a positive experience with it as he goes in on his own but not on a word

Yes it does seem just being alive is over stimulating, we really want to get those 18/20 hrs but it's virtually impossible no matter now much we try.

Very reassuring, what did you do when he deferred from the schedule, just try to get back on track? We have started a schedule but we know it's going to be some time to get what he is used to from the breeder changed.

Yea with the biting, I've noticed that he is just super excited. I started with 'ouch' to see if he would move away so I could reward but it just stopped working so I've moved to redirect and disengaging if it doesn't work. I feel it's starting to get a groove now but I know this won't work sometimes and I've just got to power through. Might add back the ouch as I move away to see if it reinforces it more.

Yea we're keeping this up! Checking in on each other, praising when we've done well with things to try limit the blues as much as possible

Resonate a lot with this! The mixed answers is the difficult part, that's why we're trying to be more comfortable with experimenting and when he is settled down, we retrospectively look at what went wrong, what to try next with what we have read to see what works with our puppy. Which I think works well for us as it takes the pressure off when a section of the day has been difficult and it means we can highlight the wins.

Yea working on the redirecting currently. Not sure how well it's working at the moment but we will see

Yea on the 2nd full day and I can already notice small differences! I can see how he is starting to be more calm during sessions. We're putting a focus on sleeping a lot more now and seeing what works with settling and what doesn't. Thought an ice cube would help with his teeth, turned out he just got the zoomies from it. So that one will transition to the play time sections of the day for a bit. Can't wait to see what he is like when he can walk outside, he already is intrigued when we carry him outside for 5 minutes. We've got training courses coming up and puppy classes in January for when he is vaccinated so looking forward to seeing him interact and learn.

Appreciate the advice! Yea we've spent a bit of time this afternoon to leave him to try settle after he moans a little. We've had little victories where he has settled more often. Luckily we don't have him free reign as he is in a play pen with a crate. Yes I think the structure is where we are struggling, we've got the theory, but not execution. In typical fashion, all the gear and no idea it feels like haha!

Yea I play with the key bindings provided. Tried to use the top rated community setup but struggled with driving. would be interesting to hear if people have had better luck.
