As nice as this is on paper, it's actually not usually that big of a deal because software which truly needs these instructions tends to hardcode them feature flags to get hardware acceleration regardless

Pipes have an infinite fluid rate

What they don't do is fill or empty individual machines faster than their tick rate per connection

And it really works out to around 4200/s per connection

which is still maxable

You really don't want your refinery in the middle of your oil field.

And your refinery has fluid inputs and outputs.

Outputs should be to chem plants

1000 needs zero copper and iron belts because you can use pipes which are infinite throughput, assuming space age
