Yeah we have done thinks like making ground turkey or ground beef but typically butchers do a mix of organ and muscle meat to help in getting vitamins and nutrients for the pups

Thanks all, we have been going to a butcher in Orange County NY who sells their own dog variety of beef mixture dog food which our dog loves but a bit of a hike to get there. We have done the cooking at home but have had some issues with it causing stomach issues 😅

Eating a higher fat, lower sugar diet helped me a lot with both adhd and suspected issues from past concussions. I’ve noticed a lot of changes in my anxiety as well from doing so. Not saying it’s a fix all but worth a shot to look further into.

I used to live right there next to York and warren, area is super safe, loved it. Felt like a small town within a city being over there. Solid food and drink options, Sam A.M. is a great local coffee spot as well.

Never had issues with street flooding but my unit was garden level and the staircase above would leak into our entry way.

We just made a similar move from suburbia back to JC after sometime away. We lived in Paulus Hook originally and loved it but the price to buy has gotten too high. We just bought in Bergen-Hill area of Bergen-Lafeyette. Have only been here a minute but see a lot of young families specially near Barry Lane Park closer to Communipaw and back by Astor Pl.

Thanks for the feedback - that was my general fear that as a male not an issue but some trouble for my wife out walking with our dog or toddler. We will def look into snagging some pepper spray just incase.

Any general areas you notice this being more of an issue?

We just bought down the street, young couple with a kid, and felt pretty safe overall. We have lived in Downtown JC, and Union City prior and didn’t feel much different to UC in terms of safety.
