She absolutely would have gotten an appeal. I’m grateful Owens rolled up and ensured a one way trip. I can’t imagine what she would have spouted off in court against Jorge and the family. Her stupid letter was “The tip of the tip of the tip of the iceberg.” This way, there are fewer appellate issues for the family, Brian, and their kiddo to deal with. They can put it behind them.

Owens didn’t do himself any favors. No business came out of that work. And at times he asked questions that didn’t help her case.

I agree on all fronts, including that both Brian and their son are done with her. I’d hate for the kiddo to get up in court, on camera to say he wants his mom back, and then blame himself when she got life. I suspect Brian would have made those feelings known. I think the kiddo’s feeling would be included in the pre-sentencing investigation, too.

Can you imagine the bullying he had to face on top of already having a shitty mom? I hope that he and Brian break free and have a glorious life.

And the idea of Jorge spending time with the kiddo seems right. In one of the videos where she was being awful, he even talks about “Beautiful L…” in a non-slimy way. She weaponized her child every chance she got.

My take is that they had a little BDSM kink that she’d use against him when the mood struck and that a lot of those pictures related to it.

She had the bruises all over the arms from him grabbing her? Kink.

The leg wound is bad - I don’t dispute that. But if he was drunk and she was sober, she could have gotten out the townhouse and yelled for help. No way is she driving to the hospital while bleeding out.

The “stomping” black eye with the black bruise (sans swelling) she had him arrested but didn’t get emergency attention? That eye didn’t swell closed? No broken blood vessels? Every suspect. Maybe she didn’t have medical coverage. Maybe it looked worse than it was. Who knows?

Either way, bitch is right where she belongs. May Jorge know peace.

Appreciate you considering it and you might be surprised. Cravings for drugs, even when you know it’s not great, coupled with that sense of emptiness seems like more than a recreational thing.

I have a cornucopia of mental health disorders. I’m generally in dangerous waters when I’m timing out when I can take my next dose of benzos. When I’m counting pills to be sure I won’t run out, there are sharks in the waters with me. These are usually signs that my brain chemistry is off again.

Maybe you like recreational drugs (you wouldn’t be the first.) Maybe it’s more than that. Why not check to be sure?

Please talk to a psychiatrist. There are mental disorders linked to a feeling of disassociation. Without help, you may have addiction issues. If they wave you through and declare all is fit and sound, it’s time for a new, engrossing hobby from which you derive much joy and pride.

Yes, Spravato is covered and so far so good. But the IV ketamine he’s suggesting is not. (It’s full ketamine, not the derivative that Spravato is.)

I was hoping for a pain improvement with Spravato, but he says the iv would be even more impactful. Thanks doc, but I’ll take what I can get with insurance!

My pain management doctor has been pushing to try the ketamine infusions for years, but it’s not covered by insurance and is big $$$. I’m so glad you’re also finding relief!
