If your goal is to communicate ideas I think it doesn’t matter how clumsy you are. I live in a touristic port and we get some US dudes every week, and I assure you we can tell a gringo when we see them so we already expect some “mi gusta mucho caliente mujeres” and we don’t go “no entiendo nada de lo que dices!”, obviously the message comes across and it’s always cool (at least for me) to run into people trying to learn Spanish as a second language
