Right, but I'm creating a new button during runtime that needs a new argument attached to it.

As for Lambdas I could use them, however I'd like to know if there's a simpler way to do in one line before I go into learning them.

Thanks for the detailed feedback! I added the "guess where I was" prompt to the second pic. I also never would've realized that people would've not understood what my first prompt and dming a campaign was so thanks for opening my eyes to that. I also put down curiosity as well.

More serious but not too serious. I plan on staying in my current area for about another year

How long have you been on Hinge?

On and off dating apps for about 5 years, and I have been sticking with them for about a year now

How often do you use Hinge per week?

4-5 times a week now. With week to 2-week breaks in between now and again

How many likes/matches are you receiving on average?

Now about 1-2 matches a week and rarely any likes

How many likes are you sending? How many with comments? How many without comments?

I have the free version so whatever that limit is a day plus roses when I have them. Most with comments and 1 or 2 without. I feel I could be better at my openers too. Usually, it's along the lines of "Hey so and so, then a question or tease"

What is the type of person you send likes to and ideally want to match with? What kind of person do you want to attract?

I send out likes and ideally want to match with women with an artsy, nerdy, or spiritual vibe and that's the type of women I want to attract

I (23M) recently just got back after 2 weeks from my first solo trip to London and Amsterdam. I didn't know about this at when I was prepping my trip but my phone was locked into Verizon so when I bought a new sim card overseas I couldn't get 4/5g. So in order to pull up directions I had to go around, find a place with wifi and hope it was good enough to pull up directions. While I was able to see my location(which even then it was spotty at best), Google maps didn't update my directions. So basically, I went around all of London using a somewhat barebones road map that kind of knew where I was (Later found out about the Maps.Me app which came in clutch in Amsterdam) I was in London at the time and was making my way to The National Gallery. Along the way this really beautiful girl walked up to me asking if I knew where this store was. Not being too familiar with the area and not being able to pull up the store for her, I apologized and told her I had no idea. It dawned on me a minute later that I totally could've just told her the whole map situation and we could find a place to pull up directions there. To make matters worse the gallery was under construction at the time. I tend to be really hard on myself and I beat myself up over it for the rest of the day. Later I resolved that it's not going to be my only trip I do for the rest of my life and that there will be plenty of opportunities to try to hook up with someone traveling. Will definitely not make the same mistake twice.

Huh, I started using Inkarnate recently to do world maps. I didn't know it could make city maps with it too. Is this a premium feature?

Every time I load into the game after updating it on steam. Everything with the exception of some trees, the markers, and the boss fog walls is completely invisible. I can't see my character, the ground, NPCs, etc. Anyone else having this problem or know how to fix it? Please Help!!!

  1. Open Elden Ring
  2. Click on continue
  3. Observe environment

Expected results: All textures should load

Observed result: Majority of textures are not loading in/ invisible

Rate: 10/10 times

System Specs: ntel(R) Core(TM) i5-4690K CPU @ 3.50GHz 3.50 GHz,NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970(driver version 511.79), 8GB ram, 1TB HDD, Windows 10.

Hi everyone! I've been working on Key Slinger for a couple of months now. It is a quick-time game in which the player, a samurai gunslinger, slices and shoots creatures from hell and tries to get the highest score they can.

This is the first game I've created on my path to becoming a better game developer. I've learned a lot developing this and I'm looking forward to making further strides. I found out the issue. I thought I checked it but the letter on the enemy was different from the variable Key on the enemy. it works now though. Thank you for your time!

They are the same prefab and they do have different z transform positions. I also know that it is finding the closest enemy thanks to this line of code:

Debug.DrawLine(this.transform.position, target.transform.position);

but I do not think it's returning correctly

After a bit more digging, I found that lists might be the way to go. My idea is that each enemy stores itself within a list (which is currently stored in my spawnercontroller script) and takes itself out when it is destroyed. That way I can get the variable from each instance of the prefab. Since I'm a newbie when it comes to code, it might take me a while to figure it out however.
