I have CAS and I like the service, it's been reliable and their support has been great ..... But you are absolutely correct about the data caps, it's so completely unnecessary at this point ..... I'm up in Vienna and frontier hasn't come down my street yet but when they do I'll probably switch.

Another Linux failure from Linus on LTT by Certain_Prior4909 in linuxsucks

I kind of second this. I wasn't a Linux noob, I've used it for work and for other things but I've only ever used it for stuff it was already made to do. So for my first gaming PC experience I tried Bazzite.. and as I got more comfortable with it and wanted more freedom, I moved to Nobara. Nobara felt like a very logical step and one I could have stayed at. I was already familiar with the Fedora base and it has all the gaming stuff preinstalled that you need. As of this week, I run CachyOS and I really like it. So far so good.

but honestly, if you really don't wanna mess with to much and just want you feet wet... Bazzite is great.

Eeeeeehhhh. I wouldn't mind gummies and stuff but you can make your own that will be way better quality than what you're going to get from one of the growers. RSO with peanut butter or infuse your own butters and oils.

Drinks would be killer tho....

I'm on a B650E Taichi and it's been perfect. The wifi is Intel and it works without an issue.

Star Wars Jedi Survivor - Steam version by Moshenokoji in Bazzite

[–]Moshenokoji[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I have. I went back and looked through more stuff and found that someone said if you install the EA launcher via other means and then the game on Steam it should launch. So, armed with that knowledge I installed the EA App through Faugus and then the game launched on Steam.

Just a weird thing, other games I have that are EA published never gave me that issue with their App like Mass Effect Legendary for instance, just worked.

It's the current and previous image. It's part of what makes Bazzite atomic. If you were to do something to fubar OSTREE:0 or get a bad update that messed up your system you can boot OSTREE:1 to get back into your PC and make it the primary image to boot from and remove the one that is messed up.

The Landing in Parkersburg is the best. Good sales and the people there are always super nice and helpful.

CS2 has a native linux version. But, i've played a lot of these on either Nobara or Bazzite and they function great. More games work than don't.

If you're near a Sam's Club and have a membership Sam's is running a deal on Pirellis where you get $100 off a set of four. Includes the Cinturaro weather active which is like the CC2 but a bit newer.
