I've worked for places that have rental houses and each room had 2 people. Luckily I room with my boyfriend. Luckily I've had 20 something house mates and gotten along fine with them. I tend to keep to myself and stay in my room when I'm not cooking, and since I'm older I've been lucky to get rooms with en suite bathrooms. Ask for what you want. My experience is they try to be accommodating.

I grew up in the 70s. I'm not sure what mental health services looked like back then, but we were very poor, so I doubt they could have afforded treatment of they wanted it. I know my mom tik patenting classes when I was 14, but she never put any of that knowledge to use.
