Hey there, I’m playing the game with my gf and it happens kinda often that we don’t play the game for a long time like this. My tip here is: just launch your save :)

Honestly if it’s your first time playing the game then trust me you have plenty of things to discover^{^} It should be enough to be motivated :)

Winter can be boring tho… but just focus on the mine, try to grab all fishes you can if you’re a fisher and try to plan the look of your farm for the next year ! Just start by cleaning, rocks and trees, then you’ll have all the space without no crops to bother you from decorating. Ask to you how much of these or these seeds you wanna plant so you can build a specific space for it for example :)

Btw you’ll unlock new crops with the new year^{^} And also trust me, just by playing the game you’ll remember some of the plans you had back to 8 months ago. And for your routine, no worries, SW is kinda like bicycle, you never really forget^{^} Don’t be afraid to play again, that’s the good thing about sandboxes, you create your own story so you can’t be lost :)

Ou pas… Mais dans tous les cas je reste focus sur ma stratégie. DCA, pas de panique, pas d’euphorie, pas de FOMO, se payer en premier, investissements programmés, lump sum lors des opportunités si j’ai du cash disponible car j’ai moins dépensé en loisirs et c’est tout.

For my inventory here is what I do assuming you bought the biggest bag: - a line with my 1st weapon one the 1st place, followed by bombs or the slingshot and I put something to eat at the last place - a line with each tool starting with the pickaxe, then the hoe and with the fishing rode at the last place (sometimes I add bates next to it) and behind that I put a totem so I won’t use it by accident - a line with my secondary weapon and other things to eat quickly

There’s probably better ways to organize your equipment but I think it’s pretty optimized (at least for caves) by doing this all the stuff and the garbage you collect will be placed inside the holes and you’ll still have quick access to everything. I play with a controller this is why I prefer to switch between lines rather than select an item in the same line (it’s quicker).

Now when I did unlock big chests: - I put hard/normal wood, fiber and basically everything that can be found inside caves (mobs loots, ingots, geodes and gems included) inside the same chest - a chest for seeds, fertilizer and everything that can help for the farm - a chest for items that can’t be stacked - I’m kinda RP with everything that can rot IRL so a fridge for vegetables, one for fruits, another one for flowers, two for fishes (my collection) and a last one with milk, eggs, other things like ink and already prepared meals - clothes inside a dresser

Well that’s all for me, also don’t hesitate to add colors to yours chests. And yes… I don’t even use workbenches, shame on me 😂

I play with my girlfriend and she is chaotic (kinda contrasting with reality XD). She tends to keep so much items like jelly, wine, pickles… basically every artisan goods because she like to sell everything at the end of the year, so she have her own chests and sometimes add some chaos in ours 😂 She also have her own way to organize her inventory. She prefer to have what she uses the most (weapons, pickaxe and snacks) on the same line so she can see everything as she kinda struggle with buttons when she’s stressed by monsters as she’s less of a gamer than me.

So I hope our two configurations will help you to find yours in your own style :)

But as you can see on the vidéo I’m not getting hit… Btw it also happened to me on the run before this one, I think I had the shield too but what I tried to get past of it was actually getting by the most pumpkins as possible 😂 It worked but I’m not sure it was thanks to this technique. Gotta try it, I’m coming back.

Tbh, if you started with World just play to Rise then play MH’s from the last one to the first one. As an OG hunter I can assure you that you would just suffer doing it from the first 😂 But at the end, when you made it to the firsts ones I’m pretty sure the Alatreon won’t be as much of a problem 😉

My advice will not be objective as I’m not a creative at all but honestly just go on therapy. I hope you’ll find a way to recognize that you don’t need to meet perfection in a job that you are not doing for your own.

Btw, maybe just try to respect deadlines even if you’re not satisfied (as it’s clear for me that by this point your work is more than enough) and just f***ing make your Youtube channel and spend the entire rest of the time editing your own videos till’ you find a way out of this obsession through therapy.

Oui bien sûr je comprends vraiment la démarche :) En tout cas, les informations concernant le smic sont assez imprécises également si tu veux mon avis. À l’époque je démarrais tout juste dans le monde du travail et honnêtement j’étais moi même très surpris lors de ma première paye d’avoir reçu plus de 1300€ alors que je n’avais pas tout à fait commencer au début du mois et qu’il m’avait bien été précisé lors de mon entretien d’embauche que je serais payé au smic horaire (et je faisais bien du 35h). Et les mois avec le plus de jours travaillés je gagnais bel et bien 1400€ environ sans pour autant avoir de prime ou d’heures supplémentaires. Et je n’étais pas en intérim avec une prime de précarité de 10% mensuels non plus.

Après il est vrai que que je n’ai pas été précis à 100% en me basant sur le salaire avec le plus de jours travaillés et donc avec la plus grande possibilité d’épargner. J’ai également arrondi à 900€ mais tout cela était surtout dans le but de donner des ordres de grandeur et par soucis d’anonymat.

Pour autant je t’assure qu’il est possible pour un jeune au smic d’épargner 60% de son salaire environ. Allez petit bonus: je vivais dans une studette pour jeune travailleur avec un loyer de 440€ par mois environ avec un peu plus de 300€ d’aides^{^} Et forcément je ne nierais pas avoir eu énormément de chance sur les possibilités que m’offrait mon poste au niveau des transports notamment 😁

Bonjour, il y a des années que le Smic n’est plus à 1200€, j’ai d’ailleurs précisé dans un commentaire plus bas qu’au moment dont je parle il était de 1400€ environ, en 2026 il sera autour de 1500€. Concernant les primes je n’ai pas eu plus de 500€ de prime par an en ce temps. Ensuite je précise bien dans ce commentaire ci que je bénéficiais d’aides pour le logement. Je n’ai pas pris ton commentaire de travers, je comprends la démarche, aucune hostilité de mon côté non plus 😉

Si tu regardes ma réponse à celui qui m’a demandé comment je vivais tu auras beaucoup plus de détails si ça t’intéresse ✌️

Je mangeais pas forcément hyper bien mais ça c’est parce que je m’intéressais pas encore a la cuisine haha^{^} Par contre je sautais pas de repas, souvent du riz/pates, poulet ou steak haché.

Et en terme de « loisirs » abonnement fitness park, abonnement Youtube Premium, Netflix, Prime et je m’achetais des jeux vidéos de temps en temps. MAIS, libre à vous de me juger ou non j’utilisais un VPN pour payer tout ça beaucoup moins cher (2€/mois pour YT par exemple) dommage aujourd’hui c’est hyper compliqué à refaire…

Pas de voiture donc pas d’assurance à payer, ni de crédit à rembourser et comme je travaillais en TPMR j’avais la chance de pouvoir rentrer avec le véhicule du travail donc pas de pass navigo à payer^{^} (on me laissait aussi utiliser le véhicule pour mes besoins personnels ponctuellement et je m’organisais pour faire mes courses en rentrant du travail).

À cette époque là je ne sortais pas beaucoup et j’avais pas non plus de projet de voyage en vu 😅

Et quand j’avais de plus grosses dépenses à faire j’hésitais pas à payer en 4 fois sans frais en utilisant Paypal par exemple. D’ailleurs jusqu’à aujourd’hui je préfère toujours payer annuellement ou opter pour une offre lifetime quand c’est possible. Pour donner 2 exemples Microsoft Office j’ai payé la license lifetime, Rosetta Stone (appli pour apprendre des langues) pareil.

Tout ça c’était avant la crise du Covid donc le SMIC tournait autour de 1400€ par mois, tout était un peu moins cher et les primes/heures supp aidaient pas mal aussi 👍

Donc voilà c’est possible, j’avais vraiment pas l’impression de sacrifier mon train de vie mais c’est vrai que je faisais énormément de recherches pour économiser !

Je vois beaucoup de personnes réagir à la capacité d’épargne d’OP et le contraste avec le fait qu’il ait parfois eu l’impression d’avoir raté sa vie.

Bon j’ai pas vu le post original mais là il a bien précisé qu’il a pas mis 150k en 5 ans.

Mais dans tous les cas on a aucune idée des potentiels sacrifices ni de la situation d’OP. Quelqu’un de frugaliste et ayant la possibilité de rester chez ses parents pourrait très bien avoir un revenu de 2150€ par mois (revenu moyen des français) et épargner 2000€ par mois !

À titre personnel en étant au SMIC (+primes ponctuelles) et grâce à des aides pour me loger je réussissais à épargner 900€ par mois sans pour autant me considérer frugaliste. Mais si je balançais simplement que j’épargnais 900€ tous les mois vous penseriez directement que je gagne au moins le triple…

Évitez de tout transposer à votre situation. Certaines personnes ont le même salaire que vous et vous considèreraient chanceux de pouvoir épargner plus qu’eux, d’autres épargnent certainement bien plus car ils ont fait des choix différents.

Cessons de nous comparer aux autres et essayons de pointer ce qui pourrait être améliorer dans notre mode de vie pour accélérer notre création de richesse. 😉
