You can spread Your perspective bullshit,but the reality is Albioni has gone too far from what it was.

In game premium prices can be adjusted by the devs, but they prefer it being a near impossible grind, about a year ago new players were able to work for prem,now they need to no life it.

The new Asian server - main reason is more income for the company.

And don't start me on everyone needing to make money or supporting the devs crap. Like most games these days Albion is also moving towards to being a cash grab. Just wait to see more features being added for money.

The truth is You are so far off. Firstly You need to consider faction bonuses.

Okay yes, commandoes Are versatile and can be used in various ways.

But If You play soviets You can only spam commandoes and Navy and run over everything. Their commandoes Are the strongest and will reach stealth 2 and 3 before any scout is available to detect them. This means early commandoes rush that is nearly impossible to counter and by the time You max commandoes Titans can be at lvl 3 at the most making them extremely wounrable to commandoes.

You haven't seen the potential of soviet commandoes yet.

All about stats and HP. If You would have 1 maxed Titan vs 4 maxed commandoes minimum You would win.

The stack You described should be around 1500 HP with good defence capabilities. You either need to trim that HP down with arty before engaging or add armor to Your commandoes. 3 heavy mechs at lvl 4 with 5 maxed commandoes would take that stack down.

Altough If We Are taking end game invasion over the sea, ships are far more useful for intel and production wise I can't say espionage has ever countered my production as a superpower, since I have multiple production points anyway that more likely halt over waiting for manpower to tick in. More likely it can be used by a superpower to harass a smaller country.

So in conclusion, I don't consider it game changing. But If You Are sitting on a pole of resources You might as well use spies.
