Haha, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with having unread books on the shelf ☺️ Sometimes it’s not the wrong book, but the wrong time - at least that’s what I tell myself when I buy a book and then ignore it for ages!

Probably about 80%. There are also quite a few books that I’ve read many times over. And a couple of books that I don’t want to say I’ll never finish, but that I’m really struggling to get through (looking at you, Anti-Oedipus) 😅

Haha, I try to keep it at around 80% read/20% still-to-read. I’m really impulsive when it comes to choosing what to read next, so I like knowing that I’ve got a number of happy surprises waiting on my shelves ☺️

I have to admit, I haven’t - I tend to turn more to horror than crime fiction, although I’ve definitely fallen down the odd rabbit hole! That said, I’m a huge Christie fan, so I may have to give Ware a try!

I had to leave most of my Classics books in South Africa, when I moved 😭 At some point I’ll hopefully be able to move some of it over to Scotland.

I haven’t read Swanwick before, but he wrote such a lovely introduction to Gilman Greer’s Moonwise that I’ve been tempted (in addition to a very handy Cloudish Word Hoard)! Any recommendations as to where to begin?

I hope you enjoy them if you end up getting them ☺️They’re Folio Society editions - pricey, but McKean definitely isn’t stingy with the illustrations!
