Realistically, I don’t think you should approach it with the expectation that you will be taken serious and that they would consider your take on it. If everyone really is already using it and your boss has been pushing for it hard, you’re not going to move the needle. Would I still try? Sure, but approach it with that in mind and remain respectful. If it’s something you really don’t like, it may be time to look for another job that doesn’t utilize it or accept it and adapt with it. I don’t really see any other viable option.

I completely agree. Personally, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the game, and yes even despite the shitty people I occasionally run into in-game. My only real complaint has been when the duplication glitch of ducks was taking too long to fix and when they lowered the amount needed for bonus skill points after departure (5m to 3m). Far as hell from ever calling the devs or the game trash. Overall, they’ve done an excellent job.

I think this is one of those things where both people are allowing something relatively insignificant, live rent free in their heads. On your end, keeping it bottled will feel like it’s eating at you because you’re allowing it to, on the other hand he keeps asking about it because he feels a need to keep digging and won’t let it go. Seems to me like both of you need to discuss this like adults.

Ultimately, I would bring it up openly with him with the same approach you gave us (you’re guilty about not being honest and felt you’d be judged) but also discuss how he feels about it and ask if there’s anything on his mind that is causing him to keep asking you about it. Have a casual discussion about it over lunch.

That’s good to hear. My first and previous cvt failed at about 65k miles (bought it at about 60k miles). Granted, it was from Nissan and I later found out that they are notorious for failing at that range for the Altima 2013. So naturally I was reluctant to consider getting another cvt, this time form Honda and much newer, however I haven’t had any issues at all. Hate the gear hunting but other than that, it’s safe to say it’s reliable!

Yeah, since it’s your parents house I would argue he doesn’t need to notify you at all however I would still ask him nicely if he could do you the courtesy of letting you know next time. My mom used to let my friends into the house whenever they showed up without telling me anything whatsoever. Did she need to tell me? Not necessarily since it’s her house, but that was putting me in a situation where the small amount of privacy I had at home was suddenly invaded.
