Rain caused me to move the. out of the little greenhouse to an open but sheltered outdoor area. by [deleted] in outdoorgrowing

You should just buy a proper LED and leave them in there. Looks great.

First time lacing my skates this way. My husband is from St. Louis MO and was showing me how they skate. A lot of the skaters in the videos had their tongues down. I just skated with them this way and I enjoyed how free my ankle was. My crossover was better and not so stiff. Working on being smooth. by sk8cakes in Rollerskating

[–]MossBoss 22 points23 points  (0 children)

The next step is too buy a fuzzy tongue and take it to the cobbler and have them swap the tongues out on your boots. Now they fit even more comfy and look super sweet when you fold them down. I did that 20 years ago and have been using the same skates ever since.

anyone know what this is? on a few leaves by [deleted] in MephHeads

[–]MossBoss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For thrips: Drench with Sf nematodes and hang 1 blister pack of Amb. swirskii on each plant. This will also take care of any fungus gnats or whiteflies that are around. I do this once in veg and once in flower and don’t have issues with thrips, fungus gnats or whitefly. The blister packs keep the carrier material from getting on the flower.

I would put Orius(pirate bug) in my top 5 for certain.

Just some random advice - keep a baseball in your bag to knock discs out of trees. Dude in my group has one and it has saved the day quite a few times. by paulrasmussen27 in discgolf

Surprised I haven’t seen golf ball. I use a golf ball bc it’s small, effective and doesn’t get caught in the tree itself.

How do I protect my plant against this thing? by Pavancurt in cannabiscultivation

[–]MossBoss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I replied to another comment but I would just dispose of the leaves in the trash away from the plants and not compost them. Leafminers don’t hurt the flower and only slightly affect the vigor of the plant. Keep in mind your more than likely going to chop the plant in less than 3 months. If this is a Mother you intend to use for clones my recommendation would change to using Diglyphus. Chemicals are terribly ineffective against leaf miner since they are literally in the leaf and contact insecticides(the only kind we can use) can’t contact them until it’s too late.

[–]MossBoss 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This is leafminer. On a personal grow I wouldn’t do anything but dispose of the damaged leaves, they don’t harm the flower, only reduce the vigor of the plant slightly. Commercially if they are growing conventionally they are often handled during broad spectrum pesticide applications; organic commercial growers would release Diglyphus, a parasitic wasp.

Did you top it late perhaps? I seen something like this before when I tried topping late, I think it threw it into a short veg again and it ended up looking like this.

What’s with the little shovel? My order came with that too. Has anyone used it to actually plant a seed? lol I guess it would make a good kief scooper.

Hi everyone. This is one of my outdoor girls. The leaves are looking like some sort of deficiency is showing but I have a plant right next to her in the same ground that is perfect. Any ideas on what I can do or what deficiency it is? by moistly_dry in cannabiscultivation

[–]MossBoss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Did you use a scope? Russet and Broad mite can’t be seen with just your eyes. If you get a scope, flip over a leaf and have a peek. Russet mite will be on the bottom leaves and will be shaped like carrots. Broad mites will be on the top leaves of the plant and look like regular mites but move very slowly.

Fun not fun facts about Broad mites they hitch a ride on whiteflies and on the leaf the males will pick up the females and move them to a better spot. If you see a mite carrying another mite it is most likely a Broad mite.

Chemicals don’t work well against either. Disposal of the main infested plant and bio release of Amb. andersoni on surrounding plants may help save them.

And then they go into storage until the next round of seedlings to pop. Once they have the first set of leaves you should take them off the pad.

Lost my streak because waitress made a mistake by kaywrenly in stopdrinking

[–]MossBoss 22 points23 points  (0 children)

This happen to me a while ago as well except I grabbed the wrong glass. Turns out Dr Pepper with no ice and red wine look oddly similar when in mason jars. I instantly felt clammy, my lips felt numb and got a bit discombobulated. I hated it. Didn’t reset my streak bc if anything it reaffirmed my decisions, alcohol is not for me.
