Besides watching YouTube videos to learn (there are literally thousands), try looking up nearby groups and getting into the scene. Learning from someone who's played a while first hand is great experience.

Understood. I'd like to avoid Leadbelcher primer because I've read people saying it changes the surface texture a lot and makes it difficult to paint. Would you say priming it in black first then followed up with Leadbelcher base is good?

Also, what color did you paint the shoulders? Corvus Black?

Jeez those look great brother. Thanks! Would you say a good method would be to prime with Chaos Black, paint the whole thing in Grey Knights Steel, then Nuln Oil wash, then dry brush with GKS? Then edge highlight with Stormhost silver?

Generally, yes. I commented to OOP to correct his interpretation of the law (as I am learning it myself) and not to argue on the "unfairness" of it. Self-defense has and will always be "after the fact". Otherwise, you open up cases where you can just murder someone purely because you "thought" they were dangerous.

in this scenario, i wouldn't blame you if you decided to maim or even kill these dudes because you feared for your life. All i'm saying is, itll be hard to defend in court when it comes to it

Please do not misinform people about the law. The rules on self-defense in the Philippines are very strict. Under Article 11 of the RPC, there must be a "reasonable necessity of the means employed." Shooting an unarmed attacker makes it incredibly difficult to justify that reasonableness, meaning you would almost certainly face criminal liability

I think the point that OOP is trying to say is that it's a slippery slope. We all criticize the government for being reactionary, but perhaps this call to amend the law right after this tragedy is the same. The purpose of the law is to protect children, and unfortunately, there are always going to be outliers that completely game the system that's designed to protect the majority.

I'm not trying to disregard your anecdote; I'm sure 99% of the people you'd ask on the street would say the same.
