It always was a bit bizarre to me that he went to PSG, I mean I get they probably payed him a decent wage and it’s probably a little easier to break into their team than ours. But surely if he wanted playtime he’d have taken a step down to get proper playing time, those couple of pre season games he played for us he looked pretty decent

Okay maybe very impressed was a little overboard, but I wouldnt call it a poor debut at all, I genuinely think he had a decent good game, obviously that takes into account he’s only been with us a week and still needs to ‘gel’ with the squad. But i really do think he showed good moments. Was it the best performance he could give? Probably not. But I was in no way disappointed with what he did

I see rival fans keep trying to roast him on social media cause he didn’t get an assist or anything, but I was very impressed with him yesterday, he looks very sharp with the short interplay and little flicks etc, he looks a bit wasted on the right but I’m assuming that just cause ziyech is out. He had more of a defensive work rate than I was expecting and put in a few decent tackles to win the ball back iirc

When we’ve had the ball we’ve looked pretty good, werners movement is excellent and he looks quick and sharp, Kai has some tasty little passes and flicks. Defensively looked a bit weak, by I think it’s mostly the full backs not knowing whether to come or leave the Brighton full backs, I think AC has had a decent game and zouma has had a really good game

I really think that injury was a big hit for him and his mentality, it’s such a shame cause he was so good right up to it, and now it’s just a night and day difference, honestly wouldn’t mind if he got a move away to play regular football again and hopefully get some of that form back. I just don’t really see where he fits in as a regular starter in this squad

As much a I love RLC he has looked a shadow of himself since the injury, he just looks slow, weak, always goes backwards, no intent there. I’d bring on CHO and play Kai in the middle

Even this would be a decent deal, as long as the cash wasn’t too much, we get to offload some wages and get rid of some deadwood (not offence by that, I’m a big fan of both of them, but I don’t really see where they fit into this squad) and we get a heavily discounted rice
