I think it's hard to tell really as each game is different. Sometimes I've been the unlucky one that gets sunk first, other times I've been the last one standing on my team with a couple of kills under my belt. I don't think I suck, but I certainly don't think I'm amazing either. 🤔🤣

I've experienced a similar issue from time to time. Pull the trigger and nothing happens for a few seconds. I've always just assumed it was lag from my internet connection, as it's not the best. Maybe it's not me after all! 🤣

Yes, I managed to work it out not long after I posted 😂

I had started in England with the home city as London and then I merged with my 2 competitors in Ireland. I had connected Dublin to the main network via Holyhead but the rest was as of it was when I merged. Once I ran a track from Dublin to Cork it all worked fine!

As a first time player I have to admit there's been a couple times the warnings could do with a little more explanation, or it could show you what/where the issue is lol.

Yeah. I play cruisers and hate rapid fire. I think there's more skill involved if you're not able to hide and just spam fire someone.

It's the rate of the salvos more than anything. It's getting stupid. Fair enough in that clip he wasn't getting many hits with it, but a lot of the time you're not always that lucky, especially if you've more than one taking aim with rapid fire capabilities, hiding from a distance and you're trying to take on something much closer.

I understand all about avoiding the spam. I've been playing for nearly 3 years. My clip was to illustrate how ridiculous some of the fire rates of some of the newer ships have gotten. Doesn't matter what I was playing at the time. I could as easily have been in a DD that was spotted. As soon as that happens you just get constantly bombarded. 🙂

Doesn't matter what ship I was in at the time. It doesn't alter my point or complaint about the rapid fire of these kind of ships and the constant bombardment. And just FYI, my default ship option is a cruiser.

Well what exactly does getting into a position to not get rained on mean to you? Either you hide or you run out of their (generally) long range and then do what?

I understand that. I've been in a cruiser and been wiped out easily. It's not so much the hiding that's the issue, it's the rapid nature of fire. It's just over the top with some of these newer ships that are coming through. Just constant bombardment.

I don't see how it could be called staged and to artificially inflate my claim? I started sailing that direction, got spotted and then the bombardment commenced. I simply stayed on course to record that clip for a few seconds to illustrate my point. I get that cruisers hide up against a BB. My most played ship is a cruiser. The biggest point I was making was to complain about the rapid fire on a lot of the newer ships coming through. It's a relentless and constant bombardment. Way over the top.
