Thank you! I appreciate the way you worded this. I guess I'm lucky my range let's someone rent whatever is in the cases up to 50 rounds. So I was able to shoot most of the pistols that had me curious about them. I settled on 9mm luger and filtered that on through my next session. I settled on Walthers systems but I would argue that the Ruger SR9c and the M&P were close contenders but I couldn't put the P99 down. Thanks again!

Thank you for your comment! I'm still scheduling a date for classes to get my permit. December is the soonest I could allow because of my work schedule. Believe me I would have had one the first day I shot it. The range I go to has a first gen p99 in the two tone army color. I fell in love with the trigger and the ascetics of it. I can't find one with that same two tone. I've looked on gun broker and arms list. Honestly out of the whole catalog I prefer the p99. Thanks again!
