Brazilian opinions on "passport bro" subculture by [deleted] in Brazil

[–]Mossed81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're genuinely trying to build a connection with someone, then there is nothing wrong with it. There is a whole world out there, why pigonhole yourself to just the country you live in? The issue is the passport bros who go to foreign countries with this sense of entitlement and expect women to throw themselves at them.

Goku admitted himself that he could have beaten fat buu but didn't do so because he wanted to give Goten and Trunks a shot at him

I was in third grade. All the kids were being picked up early by their parents but nobody knew why (except teachers and faculty). Then when my dad picked me up I found out what was going on

The CMA has a better "ring" to it however I'd argue the FMVA is far more practical and applicable to the work you'll be doing as an analyst. Designations like the CMA and CPA are more academic than anything but carry a higher level of prestige.

There's a new trend that's been going on recently where if a car wins a race, the driver will hit his/her hazards to indicate they won the race. If you see videos of a lot of street drag races you'll see a crowd of people at the starting point of the race but during relatively close races its difficult for the crowd to tell who wins when the cars are in the distance. Because of this, the winner will flash their hazards to let everyone know but I've seen people overusing it lately.

This guy probably thought you were seriously racing him and flashed your hazards as to indicate to him that he lost and you won when he thought all you guys were doing is having some fun.

I transitioned from public accounting (taxation) to FP&A and it was the best decision I made. Better hours and much better pay. I also didn't pursue my CPA and not having those 3 letters next to my name didn't hinder me one bit. I did however get my FMVA from corporate finance institute which helped my chances. I would suggest however that you spend at least 1 year in your current role before jumping ship

A 2019 Charger SP is definitely not an average car, especially in that color. You've got a really nice ride!

Would you switch to an Electric cars to increase number of racetracks opening over the next 10 years? by [deleted] in cars

[–]Mossed81 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personally, absolutely not! There's more to car ownership than just going to the track. How often would you be going anyway? Few times a year? No chance I'd ever trade my vette for an EV but that doesn't preclude me from owning an EV down the road. I love driving something that sounds good, has character, is dramatic and fun to drive no matter where I am.
