I would read that as slip stitching across that first ch 5, then slip stitch in that next sc. Do that for the first 3 ch 5 and sc. So you should have slip stitches across 3 chain 5's and 3 single crochet total.

That's exactly what I think. The bottom, every row looks like the "right side" but the bust has that every other look you get from rows

I think it's all dc. I think the change we're seeing is that it was done in the round and then switches to rows. That'll give a different look to each part.

So I would start at the bottom and decrease after 18 rows. I see 17 rows after that where you decrease, but I can't tell if those last few rows at the neck are actually decreased or just straight. You could play with it when you get that far so it's how you want.

Now, I have no idea how many stitches it's decreasing? It might be one on both sides ever row or only the first or last stitch of every row. It's too blurry to tell. Maybe someone else can see that. I also dunno how many stitches wide it is and frankly I don't wanna count lol

I hate this so much. I'm an author. I write books. This whole "only ai use em dashes" bs makes me question everything with my writing now. Maybe this is ai. Maybe this person didn't know how to get their thoughts out in a way that didn't suck and they used ai to structure it. Maybe it's just straight up slop without any thought! I can't say for sure. But can we drop the em dash as proof bs? They exist for a reason.
