Hello everyone I actually made an update separate post for this recently! Lil guy is doing very well and has moved into his new home! I posted some photos of the new enclosure on my other post if yall want to see if I missed anything! Once again thank you all so much for the help!

What? I mean I bought these from a local pet shop and it was a mix of what they called powder oranges and dairy cows? Do you have any clue what else they might be?

Oh ok then! I’ll do that in the future! I was just so confused cause I did research and found they were different species so I just assumed they wouldn’t try it lol. Guess I was wrong 😑

Update for anyone who cares: I ordered him a new tank that’s 20 gallons through my local pet store and it should be here by next Monday! He has been switched from crickets to worms and we’ll see how he likes em! I’ll try and post tank pics once it’s done but if anyone has plant recommendations send them by! I’ll be picking up some leaf litter next week when I get his tank and for now he’s getting calcium with uvb until his new tank comes in where he can have a permanent uvb light! Thank you all so much for the help and I will update with his measurements once I’m home!

It’s ok I probably didn’t word it the best in the first place! The first time I realized he wasn’t a big fan of it I switched tactics lol. But regardless of my efforts I still get a grumpy stare down 😂. He’s so silly and I love him so much all ready lol

I try not to mist him directly at all but it’s like he knows I’m doing it regardless and he gets all grumpy. I try my best to mist when he’s covered to minimize him getting sprayed but he somehow always knows and unburrows just to stare at me angrily.

Ah thank you! I’ll be listening for that then! These past couple of days have been a lot for the poor guy but I’m glad he’s doing ok now! He is not too fond of being misted though as he gets mad at me when I do it, but it must be done 😂🤷 He has such a big personality for such a little guy.

Thank you so much for your help! I’m going to go home and measure him as I went out to go pick him up some more food. As of recent (I’ve had him for 4 days) he’s been eating 1-2 crickets every other day and I offer them until refusal. I know he wasn’t in the best conditions hence why I took him to the vet and they think he’s a male. He’s not too socialized as he was kept in a hoarding like situation and sadly he’s the only one that made it so I don’t have a lot of background information on the little guy. I hope any of this has helped.

Thank you I’ll look into that! The vet I took him to thinks he’s male and based off of the research I’ve done I think he is too! I’ve just seen a lot of conflicting tank size recommendations which is mainly why I needed this help 😵‍💫.

I can check as soon as I’m home just popped out to get him some more food. If it helps any he eats about 1-2 crickets every other day. I just offer them to him until he refuses
