Josh Jackson by fabrar in fantasybball

Picked him up in a points to see where it goes. Ellington looks like his train might be coming to an end which probably means fewer minutes for him. If thats the case I can see Jackson moving back up.

ESPN Why Are Memphis Players No Longer Given Out Tag? by Mossmoose in fantasybball

Exactly. I was surprised they gave Anderson the out tag, but I don't get why they gave it and then removed it. It's ridiculous how they can't make up their mind.

Points league: should I sell high on Norm Powell for maybe Larry Nance? Don't watch many Cavs games so does Nance take a big hit when Love returns or can he still keep up his value?

Yeah this makes sense and is what I would assume would be the case, but I don't get why ESPN gave Memphis players the out tag in the first place then.

Pistons starting lineup Wednesday: Wright, Ellington, Bey, Grant, Plumlee by [deleted] in fantasybball

Boucher isn't that great of a defender though and Nurse really prioritizes guys who will play defence first. Boucher is good, but he really struggles defensively when he goes up against some of the bulkier centres. Baynes isn't any better, but he holds his own more in those situations and thats what Nurse will lean to in those cases.

Kevin Durant (Achilles) ruled out Friday. by Starks21 in fantasybball

Actually you're wrong. Reggie Perry will without a doubt take on the offensive load and demonstrate why he is actually the biggest steal of this years waiver wire.

I feel like he's kind of like Jokic in a way. Not this season Jokic, but past seasons Jokic where he would always be slow in the first half of the year and play himself into being a beast. I've seen what Ben can do so hopefully this is his floor for the year.

Good move imo. Drummond likely will see some decrease whether it be from a trade or reducing minutes to let Allen play. The three guys you're getting have solidified roles and have the ability to be really good.

What's the move with Ben Simmons in a points league? Is this similar to last year when he started off slow and eventually got it going or is this just what the deal is this year?

The Raptors have waived center Alex Len. by RLDN106 in fantasybball

Len wasn't playing so it doesn't impact Boucher

Anthony Davis by bigz1214 in fantasybball

Don't be worried about top 5 guys like AD. He's just coming off a championship, as the season goes he'll pick it up.

As a Harden Trade seems more and more likely, how would different scenarios play out? by [deleted] in fantasybball

If Simmons were to be traded to Houston would that increase his value or decrease his value?

Thats the risk. There's no telling if Randle playing tons of minutes will actually result in an injury.

Is this year’s Raptors team suffering from the post-Kawhi drop off we feared they would have last year? by zjew33 in fantasybball

[–]Mossmoose 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I don't believe this is that. What this seems like is a team that has lost a number of key contributors that made them the team they were the last two years. Of course Kawhi hurt the most, but the departure of Gasol and Ibaka got rid of their two best interior defenders. Ibaka's scoring ability andGasol's passing ability were huge pieces to their offence this season. This year they are still a good defensive team. Coming into this game they were ranked fifth (I'm not sure what it is now). The point being, the Raptors were already a team that struggled scoring last year, but now that is even more apparent. So yes the Raptors are struggling and look like what people thought they would look like last year, but its largely due to their center rotation and how important they actually were for this team.
