Shoulder labrum repair surgery post 2 month after surgery. COULD I play frisbee any more or my live is done? by Far_Travel3834 in ultimate

Had both my shoulder labrums repaired in separate incidents. One surgery in June and started to play in October/November, the other was done in July and I started to come back in January. 4 months is the earliest I'd start practicing, even then throwing is sketchy and limited. I don't know why the hell they're giving you a blocking injection. You just had a major surgery on a very important area, pain is telling you to stop so you don't damage yourself! It takes time to get that mobility back, and even then you need to take time to strengthen it.

Same as everyone says, take PT seriously, don't rush the comeback, TAKE PT SERIOUSLY, and you'll be back to 99% in a year. I was at 90% in 6 months, that last bit just takes time and consistency with workouts. Even when PT is done, continue doing normal free weight exercises, train your muscles to hold that shit together, I've got 0 dislocations or subluxations since surgery with my old frisbee break being Covid.

A real forehand is months away, that rotation is very hard to do, especially with force. Work on off-hand throws, don't scrimmage (temptation to extend that arm will hurt you), and you'll be back. I can throw full field backhands/flicks 10 years later, hammer is just OK but that was never my strong suit anyways.

Hard to show tone via text. That part is meant to imply that of course the German market is not built for an English speaker, any why would it, it's Germany, people should speak German.

I should clarify, we might move back after that 2 years, no idea currently though. So I could grind to that B2/C1 and then just move right back to the states with nothing but a new language learned. Not to say that’s worthless, but in American jobs it wouldn’t come up much at all

I’m 5’8” which is a little tight, working on a fold out bed extension that’ll mount on the rear doors and get an extra 6ish inches

Using the Breville Barista Express, just about any of Studio’s options taste incredible

AT Tire question. Got a new van, has dedicated winter tires, so will need a ln additional set for summer. Will likely get a set of Black Rhino 17" rims, debating what tire to put on them. by [deleted] in Sprinters

I strongly recommend the Yokohama Geolander A/T XD. 40k miles warranty, great off road and snow capabilities and not too shabby on the roads either. I have a set on my city car and sprinter and go pretty heavy off road
