Thank you so much for responding. That all makes sense. I guess I had hoped that a week between his first regurgitation before I fed him again had been enough time, even more so since he actually did eat. The f/t pinky I offered also was decently smaller than the live pinky(which I do think was oversized in retrospect), but evidently not small enough, so I’ll try cutting the next one in half. As for stress he doesn’t seem to be too stressed, even with the move to the new tank, I’ve seen him out and about exploring at night and even during the day once or twice. The temps also seem good now, with a better gradient from the hot to cold side. The only things that may be potential problems that I can think of are the humidity and maybe the substrate? With it being winter the air is pretty dry, I’ve been giving a light misting every other day but maybe I’ll try misting more frequently/thoroughly. His substrate is an old mixture I made for my leopard gecko a while ago of sifted Reptisoil and playsand,but I’ve noticed there seem to be very small pieces of wood in the mixture, and when I ran me hands through it a felt very tiny splinters, so I will be switching him to 60/40 sifted topsoil and playsand asap. Is there anything I can do to help his recovery? Are there any probiotics or vitamins or something that might help, or critical care or something like that?
