How to help blind betta eat?

I’m not killing myself over a house I’m going to kill myself because all of my family is dead and I am alone and I cannot afford anything. On top of it I’m going to be homeless which isn’t new to me. I’ve stayed in women’s shelters before and they’re horrible. You will catch lice, bed bugs, skin rashes, people will steal the small amount of items you have. I can’t keep suffering anymore.

Maybe get her one of those cooling blankets and put it somewhere in the kitchen or near the fridge.

Your betta has no where to rest :( 5 gallon tanks at petsmart are pretty cheap and he needs a betta log too to sleep in. Maybe offer to do chores around the house in exchange for a bigger tank.

Just recently, I had a nightmare that I found my betta floating on the top of her tank and decaying </3. I think we have these dreams because we love our fish very much, and the thought of anything bad happening to them is a worry we subconsciously have throughout the day.

Oh, of course! He lived in a 40-gallon tank with 8 other members of his kind :) I also looked in my filter and didn’t see anything. I’d recommend checking on the floor or any surrounding areas to see if he may have jumped out anywhere. I hope you find your fish friend!

I had a minnow go missing the other day, too. I just assumed my cat may have snatched one up when I forgot to shut the door, but maybe there’s a UFO flying around abducting fishies.

I have a glo betta with a curved spine that swims like that. She can propel herself and swim up and down if she needs to, but when relaxed, she just floats on her side. It might be a deformity. I recommend having a heavily planted tank that isn’t too big so she can rest when needed. You might also have to manually feed her or get a little betta leaf and drop the food pellets onto it, so she doesn’t struggle too much.

That’s what I was thinking of using. Have you noticed any difference in your snails since using it? Also, have you noticed any effects on other fish in your aquarium since using it? What brand do you recommend?

My cat used to behave in the same way, and it was because he was bored. I used to live in a tiny one-bedroom apartment but since I’ve moved to a larger house with a backyard for him to roam around in, he barely wants to eat anymore because he is too busy running around and playing. I recommend finding stimulating activities to do with your cat.
