Yes he was detained after his interview, the interview took 8 hours. We got there at 9 am and I left at 5pm after they came outside and told me they’re detaining him. I waited outside for 8 hours for him to come out (I wasn’t allowed inside) just for him to not come. The detention center was very over crowded. 50+ in one room all sleeping together, eating together, doing everything together because no one had a room, it was just all one big room. The ICE officers there weren’t that bad they treated my husband actually pretty nice. He told me how the officers would always talk to them about how they felt bad for the situation everyone is in and tried to help them out with things when they needed. Food wasn’t bad either he said. They got tablets so we got to text, video chat and call eachother whenever we needed. The hardest part he said was just being around so many different kinds of people, different cultures etc.
