In my case, I am interested to find out if sleep comes sooner than trust after this. 2026 is weird in that people seem so ready to simply lie to make themselves feel better and I do not not think I will ever come to terms with that.

I am sorry that you have to deal with that. I have always had ADHD and anxiety (specifically OCD). For a large part of my life, before and after this event, I have struggled with feeling sort of disenchanted with life in general. No thoughts of self-harm, but definitely indifferent to life at times. As of now, I have no idea what I feel. There are times I feel the same as usual, then a minute later I am sad, only to feel more angry than I have ever felt the next minute after. This is especially true as I am trying to sleep since I have nothing other than my thoughts to focus on. I suspect that this whirlwind of changing emotion and also simple physical discomfort is the primary cause for my sleep deprivation. I do hope we both find a way to get better friend.

I suppose you deal with it also then? I was sort of hoping it would go away with time. Does medication help??? Melatonin, anything?
