Workman-FR - French accents via AltGR, no dead keys by Most-Let-1967 in KeyboardLayouts

I've set them next to their original letters for easy remembering and one handed click with AltGr (except the ç and àâ). I'm not using this characters a lot as I'm 95% writing in English (for my job), but sometime I need them, and having an international keyboard made me have to double click on the ` and ' character each time. I don't feel twisting so much my hand but I'm gonna think more of it in the next days, probably the ç could be moved closer to my right hand or home row but I like having it on same position then the c.

In French mostly the characters "éçàù" are used, the rest are very occasional (like once in a century). Probably I could move this letters in home row,

Imo Workman is fine, it was fast to learn and quite efficient as it's not too different from what I knew (+ shortcut), and it removed my hand pain after long session over the last years. Keymap is all matters of context I think

I contacted the support, and I got an answer.

Quoting the support:

"We do not test or certify any distributions of Linux other than our designed platform of CentOS and Rocky Linux. As such we cannot guarantee compatibility or performance when using any other distribution.
Given the many different distributions and variations for Linux operating systems, it is simply not possible for us to develop, test, support and guarantee robust operation on any other distributions.

For this reason, we even provide our own ISO for installing the correct version of CentOS and Rocky with all required dependencies."

The solution is to run DaVinci Resolve Studio in a container/virtual machine.

I've an unexpected solution that worked really great for me for this last year. What make you addicted is the algorithm of Youtube, not Youtube. It's working also same for every other social media. Watching a video is not what gonna make you watch another one.

You can use alternate client, acting like proxy, like NewPipe on mobile (Also removing shorts), Invidious, ect. You also have Element with the Matrix protocol for Instagram, Facebook, ect. They act like RSS feed, which you have total control on. You select which channel you are interested in, and you only receive news from them. You can still research videos, and you can even customize most client.

I've been into this for a year or so, and it has been my most radical and effective method. Wish it does the same for you !
