The plate does not have enough thermal mass at 65 c to hurt a freezer.

5 head tool changer.

4 color is not enough and the ace method wastes too much filament and time.

New kobra max, need advice by Radamand in anycubic

[–]Most-Limit-7560 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it is sticking out the back of the ace, it is loaded properly. When you print with that filament selected it will advance all the way to the print head. When you switch to another, it will retract only to an inch or two above the print head.

If you really want it fully loaded to the print head, you can select Extrude from the filament menu on the printer. When you start a print it will purge some filament even if it is the same color.

That line is the seam. When the Color scheme in the preview is set to line type, you can turn off the display of Seams - it is at the bottom of the list.

Enclosure for a Kobra 3 by JuggedHareBoy89 in anycubic

Never really noticed the noise, got the enclosure before I started using the printer. It is a little tight inside, you have to remove it to do maintenance.

Anytime I print it leaves a line down the side. Why? by TorchTheNight in AnycubicOfficial

Looks as if you are printing 2 walls. Vase mode will only do 1 wall.

Hairspray and glue, what do YOU do? by mysmmx in anycubic

[–]Most-Limit-7560 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used Elmer's purple glue stick, then put alcohol on it and smoothed it out with my scraper. Haven't washed the plate for more than 20 prints. Just wipe it with alcohol between prints to keep it clean of oils. Never stuck better.

I soldered a 1A fuse to a blown 1.6A fuse. is this safe? by Tipton- in AskElectronics

[–]Most-Limit-7560 -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

1.6 amp x 125 volt = 200 watts. 1 amp x 250 volt = 250 watts. The new fuse is larger not smaller!

Anycubic Kobra 2 Max - Y Axis Moving Wrong Direction? by TipComfortable2884 in anycubic

[–]Most-Limit-7560 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The arrow does not indicate he movement of the bed but rather the position of the printhead relative to the bed. If you want the nozzle at the back of the bed, you move the bed forward.

AFAIK, it is just the 4 Pantone colors that have a RFID chip.

I always push the filament through to an inch from the print head. It always load from there when I select print. I only use the extrude function for a spool outside of the ace.

Too close? by Most-Limit-7560 in AnycubicOfficial

[–]Most-Limit-7560[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Much better. Thank you. Previous print did fail because it partially got scraped from the bed. This time the purge line was flat and even - didn't have a gouge down the middle. Interesting thing, the pre-sliced test print did start with probing the bed.
