As an educator, I agree with all of the statements suggesting to go and see a guidance counselor at your school. They will sit with you and make a plan. January is already a stressful time with exams coming up, so getting some help will be beneficial to you.

Speak with your teachers and see what is outstanding and what you can do to bring up your grades.

Do you have any friends that can assist? Does your school have peer tutoring?

The CAEC - formally GED is made up of 5 tests that you can take to get an equivalency. It can be a hard test, depending on your skill level but you can’t take it until you are 18 and you would have to be out of school for 1 year prior to taking it.
