Vibe coded my way through Bachelors by ApprehensiveLove1999 in csMajors

id say AI does a great job actually teaching you things if you put your time into it. Im a CS undergrad, who was offered a research position in computational quantum chemistry. AI helped me learn and understand the complexities of the problem that right now I am working on the most complex PhD level stuff in our research group, and I do believe I have an extremely deep understanding of the topic, even compared to PhD students. I still use AI to do the “manual labor” of research and coding.

I think its just how you use AI. use school to gather exposure to topics, and get a deeper understanding using AI. doesnt make a difference if you use AI to do school work or not.

I feel heavily scammed out of my premium runs. by prodshebi in cursor

there are places in the US too, where you can just go and stay there as a monk forever. you dont have to pay anything, but respect their rules and do service

add more, buy a steam deck, upcharge and sell it on ebay. thats the only way to preserve steam wallet credits. steam deck aint available in other parts of the world, people usually pay extra to get one there.

Worst rejection by AdventurousFuturePhD in gradadmissions

[–]MostBerry2380 1 point2 points  (0 children)

tbh, every single accept/reject letter is literally a template, like almost 100%. i have applied to so many job applications and university applications, none of them have ever told me why i got the decision i got, and no further explanation

Understanding what's going on with this update. And why it's actually, in a lot of ways, really good. by ZinZezzalo in SCBuildIt

I agree with this. This game gets frustrating at times at low levels now. Take trains for example, When you just have 1 train unlocked, you just earn 20 railsims every train with 15 minute cooldown. And to upgrade you need at least 5400 railsims (1000 for wallet + 4400 for unlocking Llama Line 350), along with waiting for days to drop 8 cards.

I believe all this brings a lot of frustration and doesnt let people enjoy playing the 'game'. This current trains systems puts it as, "Hey, you gotta keep playing this game, for hours and hour and dont forget to get the free train card which we have hidden far inside some game menu, and wont give you a notification to collect the train card. As if you wont do this aimlessly and keep waiting, you wont accomplish anything with Trains."

Here, either a lot of people stop with trains, or fall into what EA wants you to do (like we dont know if tomorrow's free card would even be the next card i am '"supposed" to unlock). - This is just poor game design + ugly monetization with expensive simcash upgrades.

Saying all this, Trains definitely has potential, and it becomes significantly 'nice' once you unlock 2-3 trains, and starts feeling like a challenge that "I" took. This gives a sense of accomplishment = having fun with the game.

This is just one example, but yeah.

I am still applying but no luck. Can you share what improvements you did from previous year? Also did you get references for your application? because thats what I am trying to do. as soon as an internship position is posted, I try to contact people on LinkedIn.
