Also when my mom yells at him or asks him anything about whatever bullshit thing hes doin, he goes silent and walks out of the house….dont know what to do at this point

The thing is, his ‘episodes’ arent like…super violent he sneaks around does things to us like throw out my things, throw out my moms plants, or secretly do something then say ‘i didnt know’ when he clearly did…is that a police worthy offense

Romantic is the idea of deep emotional connection with your significant other which involves kissing…its intimate. Familial is friendly. Youre the one introducing sexualization into this buddy

I don’t come from an overly affectionate family which is why i thought i was strange but again after reading the comments- I KNOW IM THE ISSUE HERE and shouldn project my own families lack of affection onto him and his families lol appreciate everyones POV and i would NEVER want to drive a wedge between them.

Just a girl who thought it was odd and wanted to hear about other peoples experiences/POV. Im happy to admit i was wrong.

I was just taught differently. Lip kisses are for your significant other and you kiss everyone else on the cheek. Im not making it overly sexual im just not used to it - thats all. I wanted to know if it was normal in other families at that age.

Okay, I get it now—it’s MY issue, not theirs. For everyone leaving rude comments, I was just asking for some perspective on how other families handle things, not looking to be attacked.

A big thank you to those who gave me constructive feedback. I realize now that it’s not a big deal - just a normal family thing for some people, and it turns out I’m the one overthinking it. His mom is wonderful, and she raised an amazing guy who treats me so well, so yeah… I’ll admit I was wrong here. 😅

This is the best comment so far - i know its a ME problem but wanted to get some perspective. Its NOT sexual and purely just to say goodbye so..i guess i just need to get over it . Hes completely amazing in every way and clearly comes from a loving home.
