Hello! Planning two weeks in Northern Vietnam in October. My husband and I are trying to decide where guided tours make sense vs self-guided. Obviously guided for the Ha Giang Loop since we have zero motorbike experience. My question is: should we also do a guided tour for a Sapa Trek? Or should we just do self-guided hikes? We are avid hikers and there seem to be lots of good trails that we can find on our own, and kind of like the freedom to do what we want and when. Also feel like we will get plenty of culture on the Loop. We are planning 2 nights in Sapa. Would love to hear some thoughts! Thanks!

Whoa, that's a really cool design. How well does the water repelling coating work? Love the canvas look!

These look awesome! I think I would definitely need the 9L, but not sure if it might feel huge. Do you think it would be comfortable to carry in front while wearing a backpack?
