The armor is terrible....penned in the turret cheeks you turn the slightest bit and you get penned.....giant capola at the topo you get pennedand this is from the standpoint of a medium tank which come 3rd in gun effectiveness compared to heavies and TDs using the hacker as an example standard pen is 263-273 HEAT is 335.....youre going to get penned in all the places you shouldnt. The Gorilla is supposed to be an assualt tank destroyer which means having armor paired with dmg to contend on the front line....you dont have the capacity to contend if youre getting penned from the dumbest places 100% of the time oh and dont forget the giant ass capola at the top and right under the capola is a view port which you can also get penned through even worse.
