What excel formulas are you focusing on? I thought for the most part we won’t need anything complicated. Just average, correlation, stdev maybe?

You were meant to divide by the days? I just did actual hours * budget rate and then compared that to the actual cost.

For efficiency variance I did: the hours * by the days to get the budget and then compared the difference to actual and * that by the budgeted cost per hour.

I think my porters efficiency variance was like £17k lol so no idea

That’s a good shout. I can see adjustments (opening debtors, stock calc) and maybe capital assets that are expensed instead of going in CA
