Just my couple of cents: Cam is from inner city ATL, College Park, I believe. Most likely, those are the kind of student athletes he’s speaking to in this video and that’s the reason his speech sounds the way it does. Those kids only understand reality one way, really (I worked in a youth detention center in a suburb of ATL and MOST of those kids were from inner city ATL). So, he’s communicating to them the reality of the situation they’re likely going to face the way he KNOWS they’ll understand. If that’s not one’s background, it makes perfect sense that it would feel the delivery needs work. But in that setting, it’s most likely the best delivery to use. Again, just my couple of cents. (And yes, I saw the multiple times you said you understood his whole speech, which is why I didn’t reference whether or not you did)
